I've been through the game a couple times now and have never gotten all 10 pairs complete - it seems like I'm always 1 or 2 short. Suggestions on where to look for tricky socks? And is it worth the time to keep searching? What happens if you do manage to get all 20 socks?

A company owns 15 machines that produce pens. When all machines are operating, 54000 pens are produced in 6 hours.
On a particular day, 69000 pens must be produced but 7 of the machines are not working.
Assuming the rest of the machines continue to work at the same rate, how many hours must they operate in order to meet the target?

Answer is 14 3/8

Please show workings..cos this question is very confusing...

I was up on a mountain at my brother's house in AZ one night and saw a huge creature that I looked up to be a windscorpion. It looks very like pics of Camelspiders from Iraqi desert. It looks like you crossed a spider and a scorpion and was about 4 or 5 inches, I guess about the width of my palm.

My fiance says that he thinks that insects in the desert are subject to extra solar radiation and it causes strange looking ones, such as they mutate into different forms faster.
Do you think this is so?

Lets say a situation occurs were a cop is being an asshole and abuses his authority, hits your homie with a taser and begings shocking him and kicking him and stuff yelling a bunch of false *** charges. In the heat of the moment while your boi is being jumped by the police you punch one in his jaw and then you get jumped. are there any laws were you would not be held resonsible for fighting back.? im looking for maybe supreme court cases with simular situations.

Ok time for a little story, but I would appreciate anyone who would read it and give me their input.

I graduated high school almost 3 years ago. While I was in high school I never gave much thought to what to go to college for. After I graduated I went to work for a trucking company as a welder/mechanic. I quit after about 2 years because I couldn't get along with my boss anymore but thats another story. So I took a few months off to research jobs and colleges and decided to take an intro flight at the airport. I liked the flight and thought about being a pilot. Right now I have about 30 flight hours in at the local flight school, but I decided to quit that and go to an accelerated flight school. I have been putting off the start date because I have been sick, but I am starting to have some second thoughts that maybe I am getting into flying for the wrong reasons. I don't "love" flying but I do "like" it. I do want to finish up my PPL ASAP but flying is something I could like without. What I like about flying is its not a super physically demanding job and pretty much all pilots get decent pay. They get a chance to see the world and can realistically live where ever they want and commute across the country for free if they have to. Now what I don't like about being a pilot there is lots of competition for the few jobs out there. I don't have the greatest personality or the best leadership skills so I am not sure if I would have any chance getting hired no matter how many flight hours I can gain. And If I do get hired I can loose my job any time if I make a mistake or lose my medical so there is very little job security working as a pilot. I think I could be a flight instructor long enough to gain 1000-2000 flight hours but I would really rather not be one forever. Also I don't think I could stand being away from home and living out of a suit case 3-4 days a week. So I would for sure like to to get a job flying where I can go home at the end of the day which I don't know how many jobs like this there are. I think in a lot of ways a pilot is a very stressful job.

Now I also looked into going to school to become a certified welder/mechanic. What I don't like about that job is it can be physically hard backbreaking job that doesn't pay that great, and you constantly being exposed to harful materials. For the most part I like being a mechanic/welder I just couldn't see doing that kind of work for what they get paid when I could be sitting in an airplane making 2-3 times as much. I probably never would have considered being a pilot if I could make $80,000+ a year as a welder/mechanic.

Well thanks to anyone who it still reading. Should I get become a commercial pilot or do something else? Have I decided to become a pilot for the wrong reasons, or do all future commercial pilot have the same worries and concerns.

Earlier this week I asked was I wrong for taking my kids from my step father while he babysitted with his new girlfriend over. My mom had only been dead 3 weeks. Ok today 10-18 will make 4 weeks since my mom passing. My step father has went and bought a excalaid and traded my mom's suv. On top of that he picked his lady frind up from work which is next door to my job. Why isn't he giving me any respect? I am an only child, so I have no one beside my husband and 2 yound daughter to talk with about this situation. Can anyone shed some light. I am very very torn apart. Now I begin to wonder about this preacher.

The last month or so, my 'bestfriend' who ive been bestfriends with for the past 6 years has been getting so ugh.
if i post a bulletin on myspace or something saying im upset or mad or not in a good mood or something she finds a way to make my life even worse!! Even if shes not intentionally doing it! Like okay im like overly stressed and i posted a bulletin about it and i cursed a few times and explained people only to hit me up to cheer me up. So then like 5 minutes later i get a aim from her saying "You curse too much and its not too cute boo". I know it seems stupid but that just ticked me off! and last week i had a bad day and she kept being sooooo obnoxious and random on aim omgg and she was definately purposely doing it! And then when i try to say something about it she gets overly self defencive! help please :]

I have someone that everytime I answer a question they give me an automatic thumbs down! i don't think ellen is as hurt and upset about her dog getting taken back from the family. as much as she cares about the two little girls that she accidentially upsetted by giving them a loving company then having it taken away from them. so people should stop sayiong its just a dog problem blowing out of proportion. but her caring act turned out in a bad way. what do you think about this incident?
