That happened to my college alma mater last year. My Georgia Bulldogs lost to Vanderbilt. And yeah, it put a MAJOR damper on the day.

But generally, in high school and in college, there are a few cases when the opponent is an even matchup, or the opponent is better. It's not always easy to schedule a cupcake for homecoming.

yes, it happened at my hc game, and though it didn't blow the entire mood of the hc, it certainly took its toll because we lost.
