Earlier this week I asked was I wrong for taking my kids from my step father while he babysitted with his new girlfriend over. My mom had only been dead 3 weeks. Ok today 10-18 will make 4 weeks since my mom passing. My step father has went and bought a excalaid and traded my mom's suv. On top of that he picked his lady frind up from work which is next door to my job. Why isn't he giving me any respect? I am an only child, so I have no one beside my husband and 2 yound daughter to talk with about this situation. Can anyone shed some light. I am very very torn apart. Now I begin to wonder about this preacher.

He's a preacher??? And he has a 'lady friend' only 4 weeks after your mother's death??? Doesn't sound Kosher to me.... He should be in mourning, not out with a new woman and buying a fancy car as if he doesn't have a care in the world. What a horrible person he must be.... no scruples or integrity. I just hope he's not trying to rip you off from your inheritance.

You have a right to be angry. He is not respecting your mother by moving on so quickly. He is only your step-father, but if you are close, you need to discuss your feelings with him. If not just chalk it up to him being a jerk!!

Sorry for your loss. It must be a difficult time for you right now. Now is a time for mourning for you too. Hold your family close and remember your mom.
