Yesterday, when I was leaving a classroom building. It is just good manners to not let the door slam on the person right behind you. You only have to hold it long enough that they have control over it, unless you try to be a gentleman.

I do it all the time when I enter a public place and open the door to go in or out, I hold it for the person behind my.

just today i always do even if it isn't the easiest thing for me to do i still go out of my way to do but the sad part that the favor isn't always returned by others. i could be carring both my kids and groceries and the door will still sometimes get let go right in my face. it's really a sad thing

Just a few hours ago, in the morning.....
I always do that, whenever i am entering a door and someone is behind me, i hold the door for that person...

today,i always do this.i never let a door shut in someones face if they are behind me.or for the older people i try to take care of them if i know them or not.respect is what it's all about.if you don't respect yourself you will not respect other people.i was raised with respect for everyone.

Man, i usually have to force people to go before me. I dont care who it is, how old, what their sex is, i hold the door open for any and everyone. To me its just courtesy. "Courtesy is the cheapest of all pleasures; it cost nothing but conveys much; it pleases he who gives and he who recieves; thus like mercy is twice blessed." Remember that!

I ONLY HOLD THE DOOR IF THEY ARE HOLDING A YOUNG CHILD. THEN MOST OF THE TIME THO I HIT THE HANDI CAP BUTTON CUZ IM TOO LAZY TO OPEN THE DOOR.
