Why is it that Bush is giving so much money to this damn war but yet the waiting list to get Child care assistance is 1 year long. Here where I live in NC the waiting list is at a year. Why can he not help the people in the US that want to work of course our unemployed levels are going to be high if he cant provide money to help the ones that are trying to get out of ruts. Okay lets just keep the poor poorer is that it????? WTH??

I've lately heard that using lip gloss/any lip product, even a lip balm would cause lips to turn black after certain age.. I luv muh lip gloss n jz can't live widout it, at least lip balm!! Is it true?? [expectin it not to be.lol!] plz answer!

I have this problem with my gf...we have been best friends for 8 years before that and started dating and it has been the most happy thing until recently...but i dont know what happened and she started doing bad things...for example when we go out with her friends she humiliates me in front of them by saying how hairy I am -"i could knit a sweatshirt from his hair", or how I listen to her every wish "if i want him to be a chair for me, he is going be to be one..." It feels terrible...in the beginning i could swallow it, but recently it started to depress me, and in these meetings i started not saying a word the whole time. In private she criticized me a few times and there was a physical fight, and you I couldnt dare fighting properly and she beat me down with her sandal. And of course I had marks on my face, and next time we met accidentally two friends of her and they asked me what these marks are, she just pointed down to her sandals...What makes her do all this???

I have been struggling with this decision. I work 40 hours a week, have a 5 year old son and a husband, and I go to school 15 hours a week at night. I never see my family and I don't really ever have time to study during the week so my weekends are spent doing that. I am thinking about quitting my job. My husband earns enough money for us to live comfortably, just not expensively. What would you do?

Not to change doctrine so no religion but it tells why we believe the bible is the inspired word of God.
What ever translation of the bible you use or what ever language you read it in. I have had so many tell me that I don't believe the way you do but I do like this magazine.
Because I have something to show people who say they do not believe the bible is inspired of God.
Let me know what you think of it? If you haven't read it then don't reply. I just want to know what people in general think of this magazine.

We share 50/50 custody with my husbands 7year old daughter. We have been the only parents involved in any and all school and sports activities for the past 3 years. Her mother has never met her teachers, not once and our daughter has been asked to be retained in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades due to slow learning skills. She was diagnosed 2X (we got a 2nd opinion from another psychiatrist) and both doctor's requested she be medicated. They both also said she will continue to struggle in school and without meds this can be detrimental to her socially, emotionally & academically. However, we cannot legally medicate her without her mom's consent. We've asked her mom to attend all the meetings with the teachers and doctors for the past 3 years, but she hasn't shown up to one. Whenever we suggest some type of therapy or retention in school, she refuses to oblige. We are concerned and are consdering getting an attorney to mandate medication therapy and full custody. We want her to succeed.

Recently I have had some interaction with a number of people (particularly through my blog at http://exploringourmatrix.blogspot.com) and it was suggested that I was "painting with too broad a brush." It does seem to me that this terminology of "intelligent design" is being used by different people and different groups in very significantly different ways.

Is it a view you subscribe to? How would you define it?

American authors constantly confuse me with the substitution of the word 'spat' as in "he spat on the floor" by saying instead "he spit on the floor..."
Also the word 'fit' gives me readers block when I read "it fit perfectly" when people actually say "it fitted perfectly"
Which is correct?

I think one of my aim buddies is not who they say they are. I think it is someone pretending to be someone else, and I want to check the IP address. If someone uses AIM or AIM express and doesn't send any files, etc., is it still possible to get their IP address? Does it make a difference if it is AIM Express since that is a web browser? Thank you!

How do I treat my cats for fleas, i wish they would let me bathe them, but thats not gonna happen. The flea powder is worthless. I can't afford to take 3 cats to the vet for fleas. I feel so bad for them and don't know what to do.

He said with only the faith of a mustard seed one could move mountains. You could tell it to lift up and cast itself into the sea! Why didn't Jesus, smooth out the mountain and relocate it to New Jersey? That would certainly be proof of his divinity. He performed other miracles, so to say that we needed freewill doesn't really work. Was the freewill of those who witness his acts stolen?

I know they just say that cause they want the man to cook thereby reversing roles. Still, seriously, women by nature can't really cook. All of the best chefs in the world are men. There are a few women thrown in there, but men really cook better. When a women says to me "I don't cook" I am so thankful since I like to be in charge of what we get at the store and cook, and she can just sit there and look pretty. SO why do women think they are asserting some kinda of authority when they spew " I don't cook" I mean, we never really thought you could honey.
