I wasn't gonna answer this but Beau's response got my blood boiling. First of all, WHERE does it say that she is on WELFARE???? Second, I am going to assume that you have no children, otherwise you would know how expensive it is to put them into daycare (anywhere from $75-$125 per week per child). So, if you have 2 children, and you can find a decent day care center for $75.00 per week. You are working 40 hours a week at $6.50 an hour. You are making $242.00 a week gross, after taxes about $190.00, maybe $200. If you are lucky enough to find a job where you can walk to work ( gas prices these days???) So, after you pay daycare you are making $50.00 a week. And out of that you are supposed to be able to pay for your rent, utilities and food????? Child care assistance is only given to parents that are WORKING. If you are working then chances are you are not on welfare.
I definitely agree that Bush's priorities are a little, OK a lot, messed up. And we all now know that he lied to the American people about WHY we went to war in the first place. We desperately need a president that is going to take care of domestic problems before we go picking fights with other countries.

So, in case you have 2 little ones, and you could detect a respectable day care center for $seventy 5.00 each and every week. you're working 40 hours a week at $6.50 an hour. you're making $242.00 a week gross, after taxes approximately $a hundred ninety.00, according to danger $2 hundred. while you're fortunate sufficient to locate a job the place you could walk to paintings ( gas expenses presently???) So, once you pay daycare you're making $50.00 a week. And out of which you're meant to be waiting to pay on your hire, utilities and foodstuff????? new child care help is barely given to individuals that are working. while you're working then possibilities are high you're no longer on welfare. I genuinely agree that Bush's priorities are a splash, ok plenty, tousled. And all of us now be attentive to that he lied to the american human beings approximately WHY we went to conflict interior the 1st place. Your looking at it the wrong way. If the waiting list is a year long maybe you should start a daycare of your own and profit from everyone else's misfortune. Sounds like you could charge and arm and leg and even find some other mothers/fathers to help start the program.

You know what Beau sometimes Sh** happens. How do you know her spouse/father of her child is not passed? There are a lot of complications that happen with children and marriage, do not assume that everyone that needs assistance is out to get free money or that they always need assistance. Sometimes its just a string of bad luck.

The Republican party is generally against: sex ed, birth control and abortions.
They are generally for cutting funds in: government assistance for childcare and food, Welfare and education in general.
There's a huge conflict here. They don't want to educate a woman or provide her with birth control, then when she gets pregnant they don't want to help her raise the child.
They're assholes, that's why.

Why do women not take birth control, or just sleep around to have kids, to increase the welfare check, and then complain because they don't have enough money. If there is a father, why doesn't he take some responsibility for the child's care. If you chose to have a child, by sleeping with some guy, and he isn't around to help out, is this our fault. I think not! You had a choice, and made it, now live with it.
