Matthew A-V {7:22} Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? {7:23} And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The answer to your question is made clear a few verses earlier. It is His response to those who are false believers, which unfortunately will be the majority of Christians according to the following verses...

Matthew 7:13-14 (King James Version)
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is actually to people who profess the name of Jesus, act like they are saved, then do something else entirely. They think that because they've done things and played patty-cake for Jesus, they will be welcomed with open arms. There is more, and by the way, Jesus is still God.

Not at all, not to Christians who have been born again and really follow Bible teaching and obey God. You can easy turn this around and direct this at yourself, I take it you are Muslim. This scripture applies to all that never really came to Christ, but yet prophesied in his name for personal gain. This was applied to the Pharisees, they didn't obey God, they made their own rules. It can be applied to some Media Preachers or even Preachers within churches who teach partial truths, not teaching the Bible as a whole. It can apply to those that go to church on the weekend for show, not really knowing or believing why they are there. And, as stated, it can easily apply to belief systems/religions that are false.

The answer to your question is NO. That response is for the people who filled churches and was there for the wrong reason.People who didn't really have a relationship with Him. Of a truth the word says Only few will find it.

Contrary to what Ray might think, yes it is. Jesus spoke of his second coming many times to his Apostles in the four books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
