He said with only the faith of a mustard seed one could move mountains. You could tell it to lift up and cast itself into the sea! Why didn't Jesus, smooth out the mountain and relocate it to New Jersey? That would certainly be proof of his divinity. He performed other miracles, so to say that we needed freewill doesn't really work. Was the freewill of those who witness his acts stolen?

It's quite amazing how no one reads the details.

It's quite humorous that people decide how I think for me. They've resolved that if I'm skeptical that with sufficient proof I still would not be sated. Ridiculous.

I have wondered this myself when I was trying to figure out why I believed what I believed and if it made any sense. It doesn't make any sense. The more that I studied religions of all different regions and theologies I discovered that they are all very similar and seem to help the government with controlling the thoughts and behaviors of the people. It is interesting though. Did you know that the idea of a "heaven" and a "hell" showed up in all religions during a five hundred year period around 800 BC? Sounds like they are drawing from other religions, yes? I could go on and on...

Suppose Jesus had moved a mountain. Would THAT be enough to make you believe? Or honestly, would you just find some other reason not to believe in Him? After all, none of the other miracles He did seem to be "big enough" to sway you. So why would mountains do it?
There's no benefit to moving a mountain. Jesus healed many, many people, and each blind person who could see or crippled person who could walk or dead person who rose again received GREAT benefits and so did their families. And yet you pooh-pooh those multiple miracles and ask Him to move a mountain -- a completely pointless task!
I don't think that moving a mountain would convince you, either. You just want excuses to persist in not believing.

Since Jesus healed the blind and raised the dead he could certainly move a mountain. But he was talking about Spiritually mountains in our lives we need to move, like unbelief, lack of faith, lack of love for our fellow man. Learning not to hurt others. Now those are mountains, big ones. The reason you didn't get that is because you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. He died on a cross for you and me. Our sins seperate us from God. Remember John3:16, without Jesus we would be in trouble, Hell would be our destination. But now by the grace of God Jesus arose from the grave and washed away our sins once and for all if we believe. Are you willing to confess to Jesus you are a sinner. Will you confess you need a Saviour. If you are you can say this Prayer believing and you willbe saved. just say Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

He performed many miracles during His lifetime. Why would He move a mountain. People that think like you wouldn't believe it anyway. You'd start looking for tectonic boundaries, volcanos, and other natural phenomenon to try and explain it away.
Are you willing to admit that, no matter what happens, you're going to remain skeptical?
Don't worry - you'll have your proof soon enough!

freewill and christianity doesn't mix. they say they have free will, but as an ex-christian, they have to many rules to actually have freewill. take for example, sex. sex is a beautiful thing that should be embraced, not shunned like christian's believe.
i believe that when you are a christian, you loose freewill

A discerning person does not allow words to flow out of his mouth hastily. He thinks before speaking and enjoys peaceful relations with others because a “mouth of discretion” leads him to choose his words carefully. When faced with foolish or speculative questioning, a man of discernment is able to ‘hold back his sayings.’ (Proverbs 17:27)

Let's just say that he did, And the only place it was recorded was in the scriptures. That would be one more reason that people would doubt. I belive he could have by the way.
