The Catholic Church is NOT called the "Roman Catholic Church". The "Roman", or "Latin" (western) rite of the Church is just one of many. The rites that make up the Catholic Church include:
Roman, Armenian, Maronite, Byzantine, Chaldean, and others.
The Catholic Church is a communion of churches, with two common threads: Doctrine (teaching), and being in communion with Peter's succesor, the Bishop of Rome (pope).

Americans have little experience with any other rite other than the Roman rite, so they usually commit the error of calling the Church the "Roman Catholic Church." We simply call it the Catholic Church, or "The Church".
When we recite the creed, we say we believe in "one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church", NOT "one, holy, ROMAN catholic, and apostolic Church."

Few will dispute that our country has been a very great and successful country for a long time. We outproduced the world, people of great education, skill and intellect from rest of the world wanted to come here and be americans, we stood for justice and individual liberties, and we have had the highest standard of living. But in recent years (say the last 25 or so) there seems to have been a growing movement to change the fabric of this country and rearrange the foundation of what's living in the USA means. My question is .....if we have been the greatest country for over 200 years, why do some americans want to change us some much? and who are they?

that they had already sent one to my address. I honestly do not recall seeing one from them. I want to send them a Validation of Debt letter but would that be wise considering that they only called me about it? They did give me the account number. Should I send the Validation of Debt anyway?

My roomate got this dog and said it was a purebred Pomeranian. I don't know anything about dogs but I looked up a Pomeranian online and it looked nothing like this dog. Anyone know what it could be?

I have been with my bf for about a year and 3 months now. i am young, but i love him..please dont judge my relationship or me having a sexual relationship atmy age, im not looking for people to go off on what im doing. I am looking to see pples opinions on what to do. im pregnant,about 6 weeks, i have been trying to get my mind clear and decide what im going to do but i just cant, its really hard. my boyfriend wants an abortion, but im 85% sure i want to keep the baby. the only thing pushing me away from keeping it, and getting an abortion, is my boyfriend and my age. my mom wants to keep it she said shes here for me and expects to suport the baby most of the way.i dont go to school i have my ged and im going to college in about 1 or2yrs. i have a job.im being responsible with all of my decisions and i plan on being an art teacher. i cry everytime i think of abortion, and im very bipolar and suicidal and i dont believe i can deal with how im going to feel after i get an abortion.

Couple of problems with that theory:

1. Even if everything completely turned around in Iraq, the war will not be over by election time.
2. The war was based on lies and half-truths, and you cannot get back the lives of 3800+ people who died needlessly.

I'm a 14year old straight guy but I hate being a guy and being treat like a guy and just love being treat like a girl. I hate wearing baggy clothing and trousers and would rather wear skirts and tight clothing. I'd love to join a cheerleading squad or netball team and I hate football or any rough sports, okay I like basketball abit. what do u guys think about United Motors motorcycles....i saw on at a dealer, it was 2006 and had 1350 miles on it...i think it was V2S-250R or V2S-250T its 250 cc the dealer is askin $2500...is that a good brand does suzuki makes United Motors......
