¿ = Atl+168
á = Alt+160
é = Alt + 130
í = Alt + 161
ó = Alt + 162
ú = Alt + 163
ñ = Alt + 164

You hold down the 'Alt' key and type thre 3-digit number using the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard, then release. Magic!!!

Someone else suggested using MS Word - good idea if you change the language setting to Spanish: it will offer you 'corrections' when you do spell-check and that may well be quicker if you're writing loads of rubbish . . .

I used to have the same problem doing PowerPoint presentations in Greek.

I found the easiest way was to type it in Word (which has the Greek fonts and also Spanish), then either copy and paste to the presentation or imbed it as a Word file in PowerPoint.

Good luck.

you can set your keyboard to US-International, which will let you use certain keystrokes for Spanish characters (e.g. ' a = á, ~n = ñ, etc.) Go to Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Text Services and Input Languages and then select the US international.
