Even though some of you are sure to say I can't be humble while claiming to be humble, I'm going to do it anyways. I'm so humble that I can say "I don't know."

I don't know what happened before the Big Bang. I don't know exactly what process was involved in making the first life form. I don't know a lot of things. I'm just a human being, limited in my capacities, and limited in the evidence available to me. Therefore, in the utmost demonstration of humility, I accept the fact that I don't know and I make no attempt to explain the things I don't know with things that I just make up.

Religious people are the opposite. They think they do know, despite a lack of any evidence to support their ideas. They are certain that they have some superior insight into the mysteries of the universe. Not only are they sure that god exists, but they are sure they know and understand the will of god.

THAT is the epitome of arrogance.

I'm thinking of selling my home for not less than $250K and buying one for $275K. My current mortgage has $164,145 outstanding. I bought my current home for $215K. Is there some formula I can use to figure out how much I need to finance. I also want to pay off $24000 in credit cards and keep about $4000 for a rainy day. I need to pay for moving and closing costs also (I'm in CT). The taxes on the new home would be $3410. Anybody know how to figure this out. Never was any good at stuff like this.

Even though we talked about the Lord, I had no clue until after it was too late. I keep wondering if I could have shared more that would have truly made a difference. I am very sad.

Brief background about the case:
I bought a car back on June, the day following the purshase I found out the car has a lienholder. The seller promised to pay off the loan or return my money. the seller stopped anwering my phone calls and he did not do anything. I contacted the police and filled a police report. Last week I got a phone call from the detective's office that the district attorney`s office accepted the follow up of the case and most probably the judgy going to order a restitution. I m not sure how that works,,If I am going to get my money back,,,what about if the defendant has no money,,,should I fill a case with the court....I have no idea what is the next step...please clarify if it`s possible...thanks in advance

I have recently acquired some old coins such as Canadian half pennies, pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, half dollars and American coins such as nickels, dimes, half dimes, pennies, quarters(quarter dollar)
Some of these coins date to the mid 1800s.
I have no idea if these coins have any monetary value but would appreciate any input. I am NOT a computer wizard and am having difficulty looking this up on the Internet.

After all , It seems obvious to anyone with any intelligence that wrestling is a staged "sport" with predetermined "winners" . Both religion and WWF have these events that are just meant to emotionally arouse an audience who " Seems to believe or at least act like they believe" and spend billions of dollars . Yet even a child with a bit of logic and average intelligence can tell that these things are not real . Any child who figures out Santa Clause can't be real can figure it out . Yet these wrestling fans act very similar to the crowds in front of the TV Evangelists . Almost a religious fervor over something that even the WWF has to advertise as a entertainment show as opposed to a sporting event .
And why are these crowds so entertained by watching people pretend to hurt each other without regard to rules or fairness or morality ? Why are the Christians so into the stories about how the loving "god" wants to punish and hurt people for every little mistake and misunderstanding ?

I know im probably going to get a lot of hateful ansers on this question but why do your breed? reputable breeders say they love dogs and want to improve dogs. So if you really love dogs wouldnt you adopt and not breed. how can your reason spending thousands on a" top quality "dog that costs lots to breed and show when there are dogs starving and kids starving. when so many dogs are eutanized due to a lack of money and homes. why bring more into the world? i know your going to tell me there is a huge difference between reputable show breeders and back yard breeders and all that but if you really loved dogs wouldnt you wnat to save as many as possible not bring more into the world?
