I sold MK for a while but the amount of inventory you need to purchase is obscene. I now sell Avon as much or little as I want . Great demo prices & little outlay of $$. Everyone buys Avon its not just make-up anymore! I sell tons of jewelry!
good luck!

more people buy Avon than Mary Kay
Price is why
One suggestion don't become you're own best customer not a good way to try and make money
Getting the books out there is the trick it pretty much will sale itself
They have alot of sales push them
Get to know what products your customers use
Use the product and dress the part
Get their orders to them in a timely matter
Have partys where they can try out some of the items
Good luck to you

Avon, I guess! Used it before and love it. Think the Body Shop offers some thing of the same type as well.

Avon would be better. You can just go around in your neighborhood and leave books on doors and in businesses and let the people come to you. No parties.

What is your goal? Mary Kay is top of the line.Avon is bargain basement...You have to be willing to do the work if you are a business person. To own a business and run it for profit takes dedication and hard work nothing is free
