I know I was fired so the office manager & her assistant could hire a friend. It wasn't because of money. Also, the office manager and I were friends(we had been long before she became the office manager) and I considered her my friend until the end. (Hurt? YES!) Business is business but this was obviously not. What I need help with is this what can I say to her when I talk to her again? Oh, and I will because she won't want me to think it was "personal". What can I say??

Semi-long story. I had a filling done on a molar in Sept 06. In Feb 07 the dentist said they should have done a crown instead so we scheduled to have the crown done in March 07 and they credited me for the filling. Now the same dentist is telling me the crown is bad and has to be redone (it has an overhang or something like that). I asked if I would be charged since it has only been 7 months and they said they couldn't tell me until after they remove the old crown. Can they charge me when it's only been half a year since they did the original crown? I dont want this to become a cycle of having the same tooth redone every six months and being charged $500 every time.

i went out to eat with my mother day. I have been trying to eat more healthy and so i got a salad instead of fries. the waitress came over with a small bowl. in the bowl it had lettuce, a piece of tomato, not cut up or anything, and than a ring of onion and than nothing else. Now i am not a real picky person, but i do not consider that a salad. more like a tiny bowl of lettuce with one piece of lettuce and a piece on onion. I asked for them to take it back and asked for fruit instead. They told me that it was ok to switch. than they charged me 5 bucks for the "salad" I did not notice that until after i left and looked at the recipet. should i call and complain or let it go.

Subject: clocks
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those clocks?"
St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move."
"Oh ," said the man, "whose clock is that?"
"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."
"Where's President Bush's clock?" asked the man.
"Bush's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan.

For me, I'd say:

Best: The forming of the United States Constitution in 1776. It is the longest living documentation of government, and it's the reason why America is here today.

Worst: The American Civil War. Though it redefined our nation and partially led us to the 50 United States, the losses and the history behind it is extremely sad. State against state. City against city. Brother against brother.

These are just my thoughts. What about yours? Please do NOT have answers that come on the year 2000 - present. A lot of people would say the "War on Terror, 9/11, Bush Administration, etc, etc" for worst events.

I don't want a "political" war and a debate. Just friendly interaction and opinions on history that occurred from 1999 - past.

Ok so theres three guys that walk into a restaurant.
The meal cost $25 and each pay $10. ($30 total)
The waiter brings the change of $5 and each decide on how to split the $5.
They take one dollar each and leave $2 to the waiter.

Therefore they paid $9 each (10 - 1(change) = 9)
9x3 = 27
+2 (waiter's share) = 29
how is it that theres one dollar missing if they paid $30 total

if thats confusing then letme know but its really INTERESTING

workers and a nurse are acquitted by an all-white jury again as usual, for murdering a 14-year old Black boy at boot camp dousing him with ammonia caplets, suffocating him so he couldn't breathe, and ultimately murdering him, but an all-white jury made sure that all the drill sergeants and nurse were acquitted.

Maybe Michael Vick needs those defense attorneys to get lucky?

What do you think God feels about this? Kill a dog, go to jail and lose your job; kill a human and you're free get-out-of-jail or no-punishment-here card-ticket is what awaits you after the bogus trial.

Oh God, how much longer must we live like this? Do you think God is happy with how humans slaughter one another and get away with it, but a dog----------oh, Peta and you are condemned!

While making it short and to the point.

There are so many things I would like to say to people who ask me about my APBTs, but the average person doesn't want to be lectured -- I know if someone was explaining the entire history of their dog's breed to me I'd become annoyed.

How do other APBT owners (or the owners of dogs seen as monsters) explain things to curious strangers?

Things that exist can be measured.

Things that can be measured are defined (otherwise you don't know WHAT to measure).

God is undefined.
Being undefined God is immeasurable.
Being immeasurable, God does not exist!

Visiting little impressionable kids in elementary schools and trying to convert them through circus tricks, basketball, and other mediums.

Also the people who innocently strike up conversations with you and then throw god in your face.

Seriously! No other religion does that.
