Things that exist can be measured.
Things that can be measured are defined (otherwise you don't know WHAT to measure).
God is undefined.
Being undefined God is immeasurable.
Being immeasurable, God does not exist!

Love can be measured, but God is NOT love. Love doesn't create cancer, for example.

How do you measure love? There are countless behaviors that are characteristic of being in love. These behaviors can be categorized and counted (hence they are measurable). We all know what they are.

I don't know why folks are saying some things can't be measured? Love CAN BE measured- count the kisses, love letters, hugs. Evil can be measured - count the dead bodies. Empathy can be measured - count the donations. The universe can be measured - it's so big it requires scales in light-years and parsecs! Atoms have been seen with scanning electron microscopes. The particles that make up atoms have been captured in high energy atomic colliders.

You said things that exist can be measured.
Could the universe be measured before it existed? According to Scientists, all that which now is, at one time did not even exist.
Definition comes from man. Just because man cannot define God, doesn't mean God can't be defined.
You said God is undefined, so therefore is immeasurable. Measure and definition are not the same thing.
__Love exists but really can't be measured. You say it can be measured by counting the kisses, etc...but counting the kisses, and the other "acts" of love is not the measure of love.
__Thoughts exists but even scientists claim that they don't understand where they come from, even after understanding the brain's functions.
__Memories exist, but they can't be measured either (see above.)
__Kindness and empathy exist, but kindness and empathy are clearly more than just actions; they come from within. They can't be measured.
__Even evil exists, but can't be measured...joy too !!
__Contrary to what you say, atoms cannot be measured. Scientists are able to see a portion of the atom's makeup, but scientists admit that they are still unsure of the "lower levels" and still don't know what holds the atoms together.
You seem to be confusing the "feelings" (good or bad) with the "acts" related to the feelings (also good or bad.) It's quite clear that they are NOT the same thing.
Acts can be measured, feelings cannot. The acts are simply the "evidence" of the feeling, not the measure of it. The measure of love is not the number of kisses. The measure of evil is not the number of those hurt or killed by those who are evil...the bodies are just the evidence that evil exists. Does the evil of one person killed somehow exceed the evil of 10?
At the end of your days, how will you be measured? Can YOU be measured? Your existance? Existance is more than just years in one place...existance just is. Can you measure yourself?
I hope one-day that you find the One that holds the ruler...or that He finds you.
Blessings (that can't be measured) to you.

Not true. There are plenty of things that can't be measures. Emotion can't be measured, for one thing.
Ethics also cannot be measured. Even though I believe in moral absolutes (moral principals that hold true no matter what time, place, or environment, such as murder/rape being wrong), a lot of people argue that among savage tribes or possibly alien civilizations, it's possible that those principles would not hold true.
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but I don't think that evolution holds any more scientific credibility than God.
The universe is just so complex, I have a hard time believing everything happened just by chance. Take a look at the human brain. Is it possible that a lump of fat, protein, and blood, and nucleic acids could rearrange itself in 6 billion ways and produce a different combination of emotions and sensibilities each time? Animal brains have 95% the same chemical makeup as ours, yet why is it so different? There must be a God that gives us the capacity to think and feel.
I don't understand how intangible things can sprout from tangible things. You can't "hold" emotions, but they are there, and I don't see how they are produced by a lump of fat, proteins, etc. that have electrons running through them.
The universe is so complex, God must have planned it all out.

You are saying two things: 1) The only reality is the physical world, and 2) this reality can only be measured by our five senses.
So any reality that the five senses cannot measure, you say does not exist, and that proves there is no God. No matter that there is a vast universe of physical things way, way out there that we cannot measure. I guess they don't exist either.

I got a couple questions. Do you beleive that everything is made from something? If so. Then tell me how were we (human kind) made? How was the earth made? What about the universe? And everything on this earth.
What about dreams, thoughts and imagination? They are not physically there. How can they be measurable?
Do you beleive things you've never seen, and just heard about them? Like what you hear on the news and what you read in newspapers.
And how do you know God is not love? Though you don't beleive His existance have you ever gotten to know Him?
I happen to personally know Him. And He does love me, you and everyone. If He didn't, then why would I love and obey and defend a God that does not love me back? If God is not love. Then how do you explain that Christians are loving people? Would they not be the most hateful people on earth if God didn't love us?

Awhile back, we couldn't measure things like quarks. A few centuries back, we didn't even know atoms existed. First of all, I don't believe we're smart enough to even figure out how God can be 'measured,' if He can be measured at all.

You can not measure everything that exist..what a ridiculous premise...
You cannot measure, love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance..
In case you don't recognize these, they are the fruits of the spirit. Of course, as all atheist think, only the physical world exist...they would know nothing about these things.
The end will come one day...do you measure up?

Your logic, or lack thereof, is flawed.
Might I suggest a first year course in Philosophy and, perhaps, Semantics.
How vain and proud we are to presume to qualify and/or quantify God, the mind, love.....a theory is just that, a theory.
About the only thing man can measure with any accuracy is a certain anatomical feature that generates volumes of queries in Men's Health!

So atoms are undefined, (we can never see an image of it)
So therefore since it's undefined it's immeasureable (an atom is impossible to measure accuretly)
So since it's immeasureable, atoms don't exits, therefore nothing exists?
That's kind of what you sound like.
Are you stupid, atoms cannot be seen, even with all the hightech lab equipment, it is impossible to see. They are also impossible to measure accurately.

If one doesn't find Nancy Holloway, does she exist..NOW with all her personality ,memories etc..?
If one doesn't find Nancy Holloway, can she be measured..NOW ?
If we never found her, does she( the living breathing Nancy Holloway) exist AT THIS MOMENT ?
The key to all of this lies in FINDING HER... not measuring her.
If you say that she CAN be found with the proper technology even if that technology is yet undiscovered,..then the same logic can be used with God.
Remember, I'm not asking if she DID exist.

Using your theory, love doesn't exist. Sadness doesn't exist. Hate doesn't exist. A multitude of other emotions don't exist. So, no, your little theory is incorrect. Nice try, but no go!
We all know that love, sadness, and hate exist (among the others). Just click on a few of the questions in this forum and you will find proof that hate exists!
