I was watching a show about Africa last night, showing their plights as a developing nation. Then I thought 'back when we were a poor country, in say, the 1700s, there was no Comic Relief or Oxfam to help us out'. Did the UK build its own wealth to become what it is today or did it in fact grow through hand outs and foreign aid like Africa relies upon?

Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss conceded that the
gaping hole in Bryant's contract could make the nine-time
All-Star an ex-Laker by 2009. Buss admitted he gave
consideration to trading Bryant during the summer.
Buss said Bryant was not necessarily off the table now
that the new season had started. Offers will inevitably
continue to trickle in, particularly if the Lakers struggle
before the February trade deadline.

Hi,
I recently received a large quantity of old Testros brand model paints. ( the small bottles ). My concern is that they are very old ( mabybe 20 years? ) They are in great condition thought, and they work great for my hobby painting. I am just wondering if they are lead based.

P.S. They do say that they "contain a chemical know to california to cause cancer/birth defect" on the label, which newer testors paints dont say.

It has now been 6months since i was raped by a stanger and i cannot deal with it. Three weeks ago i moved into university accomodation and am living with people who i dont really know. Do i tell them about the rape or shall i just carry on pretending nothing happened? I dont want to make them feel awkward around me but i cant stand it when they joke about things like rape. If they knew then maybe it would be easier, but at the same time it could make it 10times harder. What are your thoughts of what i should do?

If suicide is the only 'unforgiveable sin', then why does God say in the bible that the rejection of His only Son, Jesus Christ is the only 'unforgiveable' sin? Look in the Bible. It doesn't say people who've taken their own lives will be damned to Hell. That is just something people tell severely depressed persons' to 'scare' them (so-to-speak) into living, and not killing themselves. I believe that if someone is mentally ill, or very, very depressed, and takes their life as a last means of 'escape' from their anguish, and pain, God will have beautiful MERCY towards them, and grant them peace, and serenity in Heaven with Him and his angels. I'd definatelly miss my loved one if they decided to make the ultimate sacrafice, but I wouldn't hold it against them, and be horribly angry. I would be sad about it for a while, but would understand that they felt, at the time, whether on impulse, or not, it was something that they felt in their heart of hearts, NEEDED to be done. Thats all.

If they truly believed in a free market, they would let these entities fall prey to market demands.

It is only a free market to them when the US government wants to benefit average Americans through things such as energy bills.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Only begotten means, only one Born from the Dead. How He rose from the dead in the Flesh...

Now.....

We take the other versions of the Bible.... (NIV and others)

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This verse PROVES the NIV is wrong. Because Jesus is NOT God's "One and only son", Adam was called Son of God! Also, we are Sons and Daughters of God, Adopted by the Blood of Jesus.

Now you have been shown. If you continue to use a counterfit Bible, that is on you.
