I live in Michigan, there are no jobs here! So i decided to maybe go around my neighborhood and put fliers in their door and let them know I could do some yard work for like $15.00. I'm trying to save up money to travel to Florida, to live and work. Please let me know!!

I'm thinking it'd be like getting a check-up about as often as you change the oil on the car, more health and nutrition counseling, working with one physician who knows you well, etc. Rather than "hey, I'm in agonizing pain, what's up?" like we usually do.

Not sparking a political debate here... just thinking about how prevention is cheaper than cure...

A lot of people who believe that the Big Bang never occurred seem to believe that matter and energy had to come from somewhere, but that God can be eternal. I don't exactly understand how this works.

Can someone explain this to me?

Doesn't the belief that matter and energy were created violate the first law of thermodynamics (conservation of matter/energy)? If not, why not?

I realize this question is better suited elsewhere, but I just like R&S better so I'm putting it here. :)

Have any of you taken the GRE? How'd it go? Can you give any advice to a girl preparing to take it?

I'm not at all worried about the analytic/verbal parts, but the last time I took a math class was in high school, seven years ago. Any suggestions of reading material, or maybe even a website with exercises I can do to brush up? Thanks.

I remember the last times I have been to the UK, the times I entered Heathrow airport and Gatwick, the people who stamped your passport would just ask all sorts of questions and one time I was afraid they were going to deny me even!

But I went to Dublin (which is still the UK) and they didnt even look at me or my passport, I dont think, just stamped it.

And then I caught a ferry over to England from there and they didnt even really bother looking at it then either.

what is up with this?

How were we able to determine the size of the milky way? I heard that we have not sent any shuttles or probes that far out so how did we know how many arms it has, the size, and where we are located within the milky way?

I like pokemon, and I got into it when it's popularity was dropping. I am fan of the old pokemon series (Up until the Hoen leagye, when May came in.) All my friends say it's because I'm older now, but I still rewatch old episodes and enjoy them. With the newer pokemon the plot seems to always be the same. "Oh cool we met someone new! Lets battle! OMG it's team rocket! Oh no pikachu! OMG thundershock bam! Team Rockets Blasting off again everyone lives happily ever after, the end." boring! I'm an old fart about pokemon :D

i did learn alot from this relationship but i could never imagine being friends/acquaintance with him....Even though we seemed like soul mates when we were together ...He turned out to be a fraud and a liar. Why do the "Big Soft Drink", companies, put there soft drinks In these huge bottles,saying that they are so much cheaper than there Glass bottles, when, If you buy them the time you are about half way down the plastic one", all the Gasd has gone out the drink, and you end up throwing the stuff out?.

I know you can get gadgets to "Fizz them up"? and all that sort of stuff?, however why all that bother for your favourite tipple. I would love to name the ONe I have been drinking since I was a child?, and am still drinking It to this day. However I know I would be Violating some law or another.

I hear women/girls complain when men look at them, and know in my case it might be because they have a nice body and almost always it is because they are showng it off with tight tops/bottoms and low-cut tops. Why do women wear provocative or somewhat provocative clothing and then get upset if men notice them?
