I feel really bad for the familys, my deepest sympathy goes out them.

But back to the question,
How is it that this guys was a deputy sherriff at the age of 20? Don't they have to go to training and or school for years? and do psychological analysis?
I mean this guy only had his drivers license for a few years? Just started dating? Isn't even old enough to drink?

I think that type of JOB and responsibility should only be given to people that are a little more mature and trained, this is a perfect example..

Does anyone else know how this individual slipped through the cracks?.. Is this normal to promote law enforcement people into this massive responsibility at such a young age??

To me it seems like a horrible idea.

I was just wondering - my cousin is due to have her 2nd baby in a couple months - and people in our family want to throw her a baby shower (she had a huge one for her 1st baby too, which was a boy and this baby is a boy as well). Is this really proper ettiquette? I guess I always just thought it was for the first baby.

I have an emachine that I'm having problems with. I can turn on the power but nothing happens. My monitor reads "monitor is working check your computer connection" Everything is set up correctly but I can't get the darn thing to do anything. What could the problem be? Any ideas? I was going to put in the restore disk but I couldnt even get the disk drive to open.

They said if i don't want my period, i can skip the green ones, and just go on to the next pack. . but then they said something about waiting a week, but im not sure if that was before or after the green ones. Am i supposed to go a week without taking any pills?? doesn't seem right. But if i don't want to bleed, can i take the last pill in the pack, and start a new pack tomorrow??

does anyone know may be in my cats body? It's 4 months old and it has what feels like 3 or 4 lumps between his back legs stomach area. she is still active and playful, but she walks as if she has a balloon between her legs. healthy diet, hydrerated, and always purring. no signs of distress...just feels nasty when i hold her. please tell me it can be. thanks

I got the front driver side cv joint replaced this weekend on my 93 Altima. That was the only side that needed done. Now its making a loud grinding sound the whole time you drive, it almost sounds like brakes grinding, but it is all the time, except when car is completely stopped. I'm taking it back this afternoon to have it looked at, but anyone have ideas what this will be?? Thanks

Question: Is this the same god that church folks worship today, or is it a different one?

Could it be Moses was mistaken, or even lied?

There are other cases in the Bible where people were killed for minor offenses. How is this stuff rationalized by Bible people still today?

(Yet a slave owner is not punished for beating his slave -- if the slave recovers.)

It would be interesting to get answers from people who used to believe this stuff...and tell me what were you thinking when you did believe?

I went to the market to buy a dinner steak. There was only one of the type I like left so I looked it over since it was the last one. It looked fine but the price was $6.66.
I said, oh well, that is nothing. I took it up to the register and pointed out to the cashier," hey look, The sign of the beast"
She made a suirmy face and asked if I wanted it still.
I said yes and took a ten dollar bill out of my wallet. It was the only money I had at all in there and written on the front of the bill was a large pentagram and words,"SEE YOU IN HELL"
Now that was strange, but since it was the only steak to choose from and the only bill to choose from, that sort of makes it more weird, but yes, I ate it and it was a few years ago now and I am still here.

I see all this stuff about saving Darfur and the typical rigamarole of going through the UN and other Byzantine bureaucracies and it feels like a repeat of Bosnia or Rwanda to me. As in too little, too late!
Wouldn't it make more sense to train and arm the villagers of Darfur to defend themselves? I mean the Janjaweed militia is a bunch of yahoos on horses, for heaven's sake!
Horse Cavalry has been obsolete since WWI although it still was sparingly used in WWII. But 2007? Send them metal for making caltrops, a tripod with a metal spike sticking up. This was a classic way of detering cavalry. That and some machine guns and RPG's and a few stingers should do a lot to get the Sudanese Government's head out of its rectal cavity!!
What do you think? Am I right or out to lunch on this?
