Last night. I said it to my daughter who lives on the other side of the country. I never heard those words from my own parents, not until I was an adult, and then only from my mother when she reached her 80's. Once I had children of my own I made sure I told them every day that I loved them. Now they are both adults, and we say it to each other every time we get to talk.
