I am in desperate need of a dial-up accelerator. I don't mind paying for it-as long as it is safe software-that I can download right now and start using.

I just moved (to the middle of nowhere) where nothing but dial-up is available. I go to college online and just spent the last 2 and a half hours!!! loading the nessessary 4 pages just to get to class! Coming from road runner to dial up.........I'de rather shove a pen into my eye. Please, please help!

My wife and I separated and she got an apartment in August. She had cheated and lied and maxed out our home equity account. However, we had been getting along fine and were trying to make the relationship work until a couple of weeks ago. We got into an argument and she tried to kill me. She went to jail and faces a felony charge. I also got a restraining order on my attorney's advice. She filed for divorce a few days later. I don't believe she wants the divorce, but is doing it to get even for going to jail. We had discussed divorce and were both against it. Now we are facing a court battle that will be ugly and expensive. I know she has done terrible things but I believe she is mentally ill. Her bizarre behavior is not typical. I know most people will say get over it and move on. But we are a good couple that has unresolved issues. 99% of the time we get along really well. I still love her and miss her, but because of the restraining order can't call her. What should I do?

I live with a roommate who I would like to have removed from the lease. She has broken the lease on many counts (failed to keep the place clean, paid rent late for no good reason, not to mention all the things she has done to me personally) and is completely disrespectful to everything and everyone. My question is, can she legally be evicted? She is only 17. Does she even have any legal rights on the lease as such? The other people who have signed the lease are myself and my mother. We feel that she is jeopardizing my situation living there and fear that we may be evicted if she continues this way. The landlord is holding my mother accountable for her actions right now and we do not want to be responsible for this child.

What options do I have?

I have some postcards dated from 1894 - 1925 that have been pasted/glued to black construction paper. This was common back around the turn of the century. This was how they were displayed in an album for others to easily view. I want to remove them so that I can read the writing on the backs in order to better understand what the family history has hidden in these notes, but the paper is so fragile and the ink so easily smudged, etc. All searches that I have made turn up instructions that are too costly for me, especially when I am not certain that the information will be useful. If you have had success in a similar situation, your experience will be helpful!

Really think about it, do we need to be meddling in every other country around the world. Shouldn't those countries have self determination? I think he is right and we should be worrying about our own house instead of helping the multinational companies make money. We should put the USA first and if some bo honk country wants to be commies who really gives a rats ***.

a massless rope is strung over a frictionless pulley. A monkey holds onto the rope, and a mirror having the same wieght as the monkey, is attached on the other side of the rope at the monkeys level.

explain...
for all the answers i put no. because the weight is the same, so there is same amount of tension and accleration...but the accleration is just in same magnitude but opposite direction. am i right? rather, is the explanation i provided right?

I am a 19 year old young lady and my boyfriend is 16. He looks and acts like he is in his 20's. And i've neer heard anyone guess his age right. Were starting to develop strong feelings for each other, which is already making it go further than we wanted. His mom, as far as i know of, has no problem with me and even lets me stay the night with him. But the rest of his family and my family are all over our asses about the age difference but i really like him and he really likes me. So my question is....is it wrong that were happily together or should will it never work? Should we listen to our family's opinions or ignore them? Thanks to whomever answers this.
