I'm always interested in the stories of non-believers being "born again". But I've found very similar, sort of vulnerable qualities in almost all cases. They usually know next to nothing about the Bible until they open it up in the time of trouble, where they find it's not what they expected, and actually fills a void in their lives.

Then in Christian Ed class, I learned of a new video series we would be starting, and I was genuinely interested to hear a life story. But his position before turning Christian was similar in that he claimed the Bible was "boring, untrue, and irrelevant", without any real reason and no prior knowledge.

So what I'm looking for is the story of someone who knew the Bible, was fluid in both sciences and the Bible, and considered themselves with reason, an atheist. And then, after this, somehow came to be a Christian or religious person. I fully expect irrelevant comments that don't answer my request at all, but I'd appreciate the story of someone like this.

i had 3 fillings in 1 appointment. (its because i have grooves in my teeth which is a scream for cavities) and 2 are back to back. right there it is real sensitive to anything hot cold or crunchy. i had this done about 6 days ago. Also the 3rd filling is on the top and it hurts whenever I play my trumpet. And lastly, I have a horrible sore on the bottom inside lip where a numbing shot went in and it hurts when something hits it.

HELP! how can i get rid of the pain and annoyance??

ok so i am having a debate with my brother he says that you are a hypocrit if you say you are an animal lover but then you eat a hamburger or some type of meat and when you say "that is so wrong" when you see people using their animals in dog fights or when people eat dogs or when people leave there animals in terrible living conditions. but then we eat pigs and cows and have millions of cows and pigs in slaughter houses. so what is your point of view. can you say you love animals and hate when they are hurt but then eat a hamburger and what not?

Think about it. A repeat of the first ever Rugby International match, against two neighbours. Realistically I think it is very doubtful but after today who can honestly write off Scotland or Fiji.

Any thoughts or has the feeling of euphoria got to me?

As science and technology leads us to new products, the electronic and software at an incredible rate, it would seem that the damage caused by fallen industries (because some product just was not the best at that time).....would create alot more turmoil, and loss of jobs/stock market investment. Can anyone give an example of how these R & D in all these companies complement each other, or create new directions instead of destroying them by competition?

The Clinton administration will probably be remembered as the most corrupt president in American history. Aside from being the ONLY popular elected president ever impeached, Clinton's legacy extends to little more than widespread corruption.

I had to post this again..I guess anybody can answer this, because no psychologists or counselors must be on right now.
My psychologist said that my molester is a pedophile and that it doesn't matter if I hit puberty at the time of the incident. Would the psychologists on yahoo diagnose my molester as a pedophile (it happened from 12-14, 6th to 8th grade). Do you have to go by the DSM-IV definition where it only says that a pedophile must be sexually attracted to PRE-pubescent kids? It says the age range is 13 years and younger, but we know that 9, 10, and 11 year olds hit puberty now these days.

I don't think it should matter if someone hit puberty, because kids are kids. Am I wrong? These 12 year olds who have their periods, have pubic hair, and wear training bras still look like kids and think like kids for god sake. But this guy told me I was stupid for thinking that and how pedophiles aren't attracted to 12 year old girls with pubic hair and budding breasts.Anybody agree?

I want to know something cool to do on my laptop. Maybe games, downloads, or an accessory I can buy for it. I'm just bored and want to do something fun. (I discovered the windows movie maker yesterday, and just thought that was the cooliest.)

Good Afternoon,
I am Traveling to Puerto Vallarta Nov 4-11, the wearther shows the average temperature there is highs 85 and Lows in the 70, does that sound about right and does it rain much if at all in Nov? Does it cool down when the sun goes down or are most people running around in shorts most of the time, even after dark? Also, do the restaurants and clubs there have dress codes. I am talking about the average restaurant not the 5 star in the Four Seasons but the popular clubs, etc...like no shorts, no thong sandals, that sort of thing. Any sort of direction would be appreciated. Thanks
