I'm dying it monday but I havn't decided what color. I was thinking red in the front and black in the back with blonde tips in the front. Or that except instead of red maybe orange. I wanted to go bleached blonde all over but my hairstylist told me that it would fry my hair.

If someone kidnapped you in broad daylight, then waterboarded you for hours on end, is it torture or is it "severe interrogation"?

Because last I checked, when the POLICE interrogate a suspect, they INTERROGATE the suspect.

When the government interrogates a suspect, TORTURING them isn't beyond the realm of reason.

But don't you just love the government's *definition* of torture? It's much like Bill Clinton's interprepretation of what is, *is*.

Ah...so much for American values.

Now I know why Blackwater likes their job so much.

does anybody know anything about a manufactured home community in the austin/pflugerville area called dessau fountain estates? we are going to be relocating to the area soon and we are looking at all of our options. the pictures of the community look decent, but you never know. do any of you have any feedback? what kind of people live there, crime, etc. thanks!

Does this mean I should look for employment someplace else? I dont know how do deal with this because my manager is in on this, I have no one to turn to for help. Any one I try to befriend, ends up making fun of me or ignoring me. They say things about me that are not true,they sabotage my passwords on my computer, and find ways to generally make my life difficult at work.
Is this just the way the workplace is or am I missing something? I am finding ways to cope, but I dont to "cope". I just want to be left alone to do my job. And get along with my co-workers. I believe I act in a professional manner,( no gossiping,proper apperance,e.t.c.) so this type of treatment is a mystery to me.

Do the Chinese-made plastic American flags that everybody flew starting 9/11/01, that are now lying tattered and bleached in the broken glass and oil and poison ivy by the side of every highway in the US offend you at all? I'm trying to decide if advertising a service for travelers in in-flight magazines would be cost-effective. If one of these magazines' readership is, say, 2 million, is it conservative enough to say that 1% of those readers will answer my ad? (by "answer" I mean actually contact me about my service, not just look at the ad) If not, what would be a good percentage to work with. Remember it is a service for travelers and I would be advertising in in-flight magazines. Thanks!
