I have a external hard drive. When plug into my destop a popup said it is not recognized. i try on my friends laptop also gets the same result. I'm using Window XP SP2 and my friend uses Window Vista Home Basic. How to fix this problem?

This site is starting to take on the nasty habits of the rest of YQ&A.
As seniors, of an age to know better, some of you are stooping to child tactics, just because you either don't care for a question, the person asking the question, or someone is telling you what to do-like causing someone to get a violation when they really don't deserve one.
Then some of you are sending nasty e-mails to folks. Time to rethink what you are doing folks & who you might be doing it for.
We love the jokes, stories, & other neat stuff that folks here share. If you don't care for them then just skip to the next Q etc.
Are we bending the rules a bit? Yes! But in a darn nice way!!!
Now before you reply to this, read it again! Then either ans. or not. It doesn't deserve a violation!

I want a computer and a ps3 I would rather get a new computer first before a ps3 but the only problem is that I'm afraid that If I don't get a ps3 now all the 500.00 60GB ps3s will be gone. Can anyone tell me where any of the republican candidates would be different from W, other than being more conservative on immigration? Ron Paul would be different, all the candidates say they would be more agressive on immigration. What else? They have all criticized the handling of the war, but not said they would do anything different. They all believe in his tax cuts, his judges, his policy of expanding democracy inthe mideast. Other than immigration are any of them proposing doing anything differently than the least popular president since Nixon?
