Why is my cat becoming worse than a child? I have 2 cats, and the younger one is very independant, is friendly but not real trusting of strangers. The older cat though...omg, this cat is driving me crazy. He is constantly at my feet. I give him attention, i play with him, pet him, etc...he has food and water....but i am just constantly tripping over him. Its getting very annoying, especially since i have a baby (8 month old, so its not a "new" thing), and have almost fallen twice while holding the baby because the cat ran directly at my feet. Why is he acting like this, and how do i make him stop??

Scenario:

You find that everytime you put your food in the communal fridge, someone steals it. So you poison it. Person steals it and eats the poisoned food. They die. Somebody finds out it was your food.

Are you liable? Aren't you free to do whatever you want to to your OWN food?

Im in no way condoning what Craig did but just last weekend there was the Folsom Street Festival where people were actually committing the acts in public and I didnt hear of an arrest. How can a guy in a stall be arrested for tapping his foot and two guys can dress in bondage and whip each other in the street in front of kids and people think its a good thing.

I work with a guy that has a tendency of greeting every female in the building by saying, "Hello beautiful, you look just lovely!" or "Good Morning. Don't you just look ravishing today?". He either says one or the other and the words beautiful, lovely and ravishing are always emphasized dramatically.

He says it every day, and we know it is coming when we see him. I can practically look at my watch and do a count down for the compliment.

Usually when he says that we thank him, but quite frankly after hearing it over and over it gets on our nerves. You can tell that he is not sincere in what he says, and it creeps some of us out. It's to a point where some of us just don't know what to say anymore and it has gotten really old.

I would feel better about telling him about it than hearing people talk or about how much it bothers them or how it creeps them out, and sometimes it even makes me uncomforatable. Any good suggestions?

BTW...All smart*ss answers will be ignored.

I think that it is important for people on all sides here including Christians, Pagans, and Atheists to recognize what really constitutes persecution.

Repeatedly being witnessed to even though you've made it clear you aren't going to be changed may be annoying, insenstitive, and downright cloddish but it is NOT persecution.

Some of the stupid, incredibly hurtful things (not counting witch hangings and burnings --Salem and all--that really DID constitute religious persecution) Christians have done to non Christians here in America (and there are plenty of ways we have really screwed up and hurt people!) does NOT constitute persecution.

Christians, having a school Christmas parade cancelled, the phrase Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas, and the Target urban legend DO NOT constitute religious persecution.

So what does? Being beheaded because somebody heard you praying the wrong prayer? Having your places of worship vandalized?
