I listen to music, eat a lot and sleep. That's all that seems to help.

And a religion less than 2000 years old? Considering the age of the earth and all the religions before it, What makes you think this is the one "TRUE" religion?How can you scoff at ancient religions and call them myths but believe in this one?

The bible is first mention of this god in history and was written or writing began rather in 1500BC and Christianity was not introduced until 33AD.Religions have come and gone since the begining of known history why do you believe this one to be THE ONE?
Just wondering.....please don't quote the bible to me.....that kind of defeats the question.

I always thought that the definition of 'sin' was an act you personally did to transgress the law of God or something like that. If person A does something evil, it's his sin, and not innocent bystander B's sin. If somebody commits a crime, you throw them into jail, and not some person picked out of a phone book. Pretty straight-forward...

However, according to standard Christian doctrine, the sin of Adam and Eve was somehow passed on or transferred to billions of people who never consented to Eve's sinful act at in the first place. They simply have existence thrust upon them, and are born with one foot in Hell due to something they never did.

Is this even remotely fair and just? Doesn't this make Jehovah into some arbitrary bully?

I have a sinus infection. my doctor has me on antibiotics and a nasal decongestant as well as taking advil for any pain. The past day and a half i haven't been able to sleep because of the pain from the pressure.......it is all on the right side of my face...the pressure is making my ear hurt, my mouth and my head. i have tried putting both a cold and hot compress on it to try and make some of the pain go away and that works for a little while but the pain is still there. does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to relieve some of the pain?

I am a newly married woman and although my husband and I have no immediate plans to have kids, it is something that we are planning in the near future. Although I am not apposed to having kids, I have never been really into the idea. The prospect is more frightening than exciting. I am not sure if I will be a good parrent, or even what makes a good parrent. Still I can see having one in the future. Is this a normal state for a woman to be in while in her mid 20's, or should I be more excited about the matter? If I am not, is that an indication that maybe I should not have kids? Is their anyone out their that was in my particular state of mind before having kids, and if so
did that change after you had kids?

It always surrounds me lost outside somewhere and all the people I'm with (usually family members) are gone and I can't find them or they've just up and left me in the middle of an unfamiliar place. Usually my purse is gone or lost so I have no keys to my car or money to call a cab or make a phone call. If I do find my car keys I start looking for my car. I walk for blocks and can't find it or its gone. I start thinking I will have to beg for money to make a phone call and I may not get any help so I'm so afraid of the unknown. I feel very scared and alone, like I won't find my way back. I've had this dream several times over the last 5 years. I wonder why it is recurring.

for the Bible to replace the US Constitution? Also, include any other reasons you can think of. I have a girl in my class who thinks that it would solve all the worlds problems....and there is one main reason i would never happen...if you get that i'll give the first person 10 points. I don't smoke or drink, and when I do drink is for just fun with a friend family! Drinking is more dangerous then smoking marijuana, but I don't understand why smoking it is illegal? That's stupid!
