1st amendment to the constitution. I suppose if it replaced it that wouldn't matter. It wouldn't work as a framework to run a government nearly as efficiently as the current one.

#1-The U.S. Constitution, Separation of church and state.
Other than that, the bible has too many ambiguities that some people exploit for their own purposes.
ie. The KKK uses the bible to rationalize their hate
Just about all Christians use it for gay bashing
(not all individuals, but most institutions in general)
With enough time and patience you could find something
in the bible that says you will go to hell if you wear a
blue shirt and eat mallowmars on Tuesdays.
And two people going to the same church reading the same bible, listening to the same priest would have 2 different interpretations of the bible.

If that would happen, the US would be under the Leviical priests with many crimes punishable by stoning. What do you think of the Bible? All rebellious sons would also be stoned to death. Every father would have break the hymen of his duaghter by his finger to prov his daughter's virginity.
Do you want it proposed in Congress, effectively destroying democracy with acentralized MONARCHY?

everyone has their own interpretation of what the laws are meant to declare. you can't even get two people who sit beside each other in church to agree on everything . besides the law was designed to set us appart from God and Christ was delivered to bring us to God. granted we would do well to follow the written law as a nation, but look at the hatred towards Isreal. and they don't follow it to the letter.

Whose version? Unless people know Ancient Hebrew and Aramaic, as well as Greek, they don't know the Bible, only some translator's version. And, hooboy, do they make mistakes!

Because its impractical to modern day situations.
I mean today stoning an adulterer to death isn't cool anymore it would be nice if we could but thats just wrong.
