If you live in, or visit Australia - it's either wear a hat, or take your chances wearing skin cancer in some shape or form

In summer, I wear one if I am going to be out, sitting in the sun. Protection.
In winter, I wear one when it's cold and windy. Keep my ears warm. Protection.
Never for a fashion statement.

Don't do hats.
Occasionally if it is raining and I haven't got a hood, or on a really hot day I might wear a cap, but I find them sweaty and uncomfortable.
