I was raised Lutheran, and we don't "get saved," or "ask Jesus into our hearts." We get confirmed into the church, and we believe Jesus is always there.

So why did some small-town religious fanatic have the audacity to tell me I'm going to hell unless I ask Jesus into my heart? Like he's outside in the rain or something.

Can anyone elaborate this idea for me?

I'm not anti-evolution. I'm just wondering, how can a species evolve from asexuality to sexuality? Would it have to go through a period where it could do both?

And what came first, the ability to have sex to have kids, or the pleasure the comes from having sex? Neither would help much without the other.

Colin Cowherd, whose complete background is covering the Pac-10, almost starts to cry as he whines about USC dropping below LSU. He reverses all of the Pac-10 facts to say LSU scheadule is soft. He shamefully points out that Carmen Diaz must not look good in the morning because she is not a natural beuty like Jennifer Anderson, and has the gal to call TULANE a "dance school" after what they went through in Katrina in building back an impressive football team with the former UCLA coach, with 2 Pac-10 titles, and very good players. He epitomizes the extreme bias that all media has with their love affair with themselves. If it is not LA or NY and liberal then in thier eyes it can not be good or worth the time to find out.

Yesterday I put my ladder in the corner of my garage and knocked the sensor bracket off the bottom.I put bracket back on but light is still yellow the other side is a green light.When pushing the remote or the button in garage the door goes all the way up and then all the way down the door will not stay up other than that it sounds find and I had no problems until I found the bracket off.

My daughter is wanting to have a Halloween birthday party.
I am trying to think of ideas for food to use for the gross out boxes. I do remember that peeled grapes are eyeballs & popcorn kernals are teeth but now I'm drawing a blank for anymore. This is strictly a tactile experience. They WILL NOT be able to see the items since they will be covered. This is for younger children

Let me just whine for a few minutes here...
You all know me probably. I posted alot about my new puppy and when I finally got him, I posted alot about taking care of him. I should've listened to you yahoo users. taking care of a puppy ALONE is the most hardest thing ive done in my life and it's only been a week. I have several major projects assigned in school, joined three after school clubs, and I'm completely stressed out here. I also can't help but to think about my future.. If I'm stressed now, how will I manage during my junior year? Will my dog ever learn how to take care of himself when I'm away? I don't know why I didn't think about this before I got him.. I think rushed into getting him too quickly. I definately want to keep my baby but I'm just SO EXHAUSTED AND STRESSED!!
...so who wants to comfort me and give me some advice on how to deal?? (please be nice and dont tell me to give up my baby, i love him to death.)

I have brown eyes very fair skin complexion I have light brown hair right now but would like highlights
I was wondering what color would look best on me?
Should I have my hair bleached and get brown highlights
or keep it brown and get blonde highlights?
Would I look stupid with blonde hair because my complexion is so fair?
And my eyebrows would still be brown? I think that would look weird if I had blond hair but I don't know??
Can you get two colors of highlights at the same time?
Like if I wanted my hair dyed dark brown and get bleach blonde highlights and light brown like a caramel highlight could I do all that? Should I do that?
