-snort- "I don't want to take my turtles to the vet".

Well why the hell not?! A major part of owning a pet is keeping it healthy. If you wanted an animal that didn't require vet attention, you should have gotten a goldfish.

Be a responsible owner: either take them to the vet or give them to someone who will.

A knowledgeable reptile vet needs to identify the worms and prescribe the correct medication and dosage based on weight. Part of pet ownership!

Whatever you do,don't worm them yourself, because some over the counter wormers are deadly to turtles. You need to ask a vet or calll your local zoo to find out what kind of wormer to use.
