I asked a question about reasons why I shouldn't vote for a particular candidate in the 2008 Presidential election. I was looking for information that maybe I hadn't heard yet.

Most of the people who responded said I shouldn't vote for this candidate because he was a) crazy, b) not going to win. I explained that the first answer was immature and illogical, and the second answer was ridiculous. Who votes for someone just because they are going to win?

Additionally, I asked my adult students (between the ages of 18 and 50) to name five candidates for the Presidential election. Out of a class of 20 people, only 3 or 4 people could do it. Most of them could only identify Clinton and Obama.

Are we so disinterested and unthinking about the state of our country? Or is it a general dislike for corrupt politicians?

Bible says in Genesis Ch. I met him when I was 27 & we got married when I was 29. I'm almost 35 now. We have a great relationship, I know he loves & cares for me. When I was 21 I was stupid & I got arrested for shoplifting. Im not even going to go into the circumstances b/c I knew it was wrong & there is no excuse. I feel so terrible about this. I feel like a horrible person. No one found out about it except the people i was with which I don't talk to anymore. My family doesn't know & my husband doesn't know. I want to tell him b/c It bothers me but I don't want him to know b/c I am so ashamed. I know God has forgiven me but I haven't forgiven myself & I feel like such a horrible person. What would you do?

I have been to a few interviews now, and I was offered two jobs which I turned down, as they werent what I wanted. I always get stuck on What have you got to offer this company?

Your phone rings? GRR!!!

A friend of mine called me this morning at 6:55AM while she was on her way to work to say "I know me and my hubby are coming over tonight and I just wanted to know if we needed to bring anything". She gets so mad over the stupidest stuff
like last night i called my dad and asked if i could go to homcomeing and he said yea so i said id call him when i needed a ride home
I could hear my step mom in the background sayin
She dont neeed to do what ever she F wants
She gets to go do what ever she wants
My dad was trying to settle her down but she wouldnt stop
shes gone crazy and i dont know why shes not even resonsible for me i only say that because she treates me like crap like my mom and step dad did thats why i moved in with my dad
she yells at me for the stupidest reasons like one day
she was talkin to my grandma and said that my brother was gonna come live with me and i didnt know that
so i asked and she was like

that got me so mad so i wouldnt talk to her at all the rest of the day that may seem childish but she gets on my nerves...

U agree that the human being is a biological entity, powered by an eternal soul living in a walking talking computer that has to be programmed from youth just like any other computer, and that is why as u can network computers together to make them stronger you can network people together and their powers to do God Like things, like teleport anywhere, deflect comets with our minds, fold space and time, cure ourselves of any disease pool our powers together and there's nothing we can't do, the question is can we break away from killing ourselves and our planet, and become enlightened enough to really implement change and truly evolve into what we were created to be in the first place, to realize our true potential, and to live in peace and harmony, and once and for alltime bring a utopia here on earth. I resigned with 2 weeks notice to my employer, but my employer is threatening to sue me in civil court, because he claims that I needed to give him more notice than that [because I am an essential employee according to him, the reason for resignation was poor working condition such as improper lighting, smoking indoors, and bad office politics; all of which I had complaint about to him (and other director) ]. My two weeks are not over yet, and he has suffered no damage what-so-ever, and instead of looking for a replacement for me and this other woman who quit the very next day, all he is doing is wasting his time looking for a lawyer. I have already offered to co-operate with him to the extent allowable [under new employment contract, and my own time constraints] for the period of 3 months to help in transition. I have at least one week of unclaimed vacation in this year. And I have only taken 2 weeks off in past 6 years. And one of the director has taken 5 weeks off this year alone.
