Kent in SD is w-r-o-n-g wrong.

Just buy the adapter (usually available on ebay or at keh.com or bhphotovideo.com) and all your older MC/MD ROKKOR-X lenses can be mounted to a MAXXUM/SONY. Yes you will have to use manual focus and metering but what a great line of glass you have access to. Imagine a 58mm f1.2 - with a 1.6 crop factor its equivalent to a 93mm on a 35mm film camera. Excellent portrait lens. How about a 35mm f2.8 SHIFT CA on your Dimage for architectural photos without that "falling back" look?
