No it shouldn't it tests your urine. If you are on your period and think for some reason that you are pregnant then I would see the Dr. They can do a blood test.

Why would you take a pregnancy test if you were on your period? And the answer is no, the test works because of your pee, it doesn't have anything to do with that.

you need to take the pregnancy test after you have missed your period. but if you think that u r pregnant even though u had ur period i wud advise you take an ultra sound test. or visit the doctor.
