We are putting our house up for sale in about 3 to 4 weeks. We have found the house of our dreams that we would like to buy but are terrified it will be sold by the time we are able to sell ours and make an offer on it. We are unable to convert our pre-approval into a loan until we sell our current home but can we at least make an offer on the new house with a contingency that we sell our home first? The home is being sold by a builder, not a private owner. It has been for sale since March 2006. They just lowered the price into our range. Thanks.

I just got top and bottom braces yesterday and I have a few questions!
my teeth feel really wiggly is this normal? and they really hurt! also i cant bite into anything without screaming not even like a noodle or rice! what can i eat! and my teeth have already moves alot! they looks 100 times straighter is this soposed to happen in the first few days?

This isnt entirely a physics question, but i couldnt think of a better place to put it.
One of the natural consequences of believing in God or the Creator of the universe is that the world is determined to at least some extent. How then do random events fit into this framework? are they still random and "out of Gods control"? or do they just look random to us? Examples of random events: atomic decay of a single atom, localization of particles from a waveform, and single shot measurements on probablility distributions of all sorts.

When one minute their telling you how much they love their God and then their off doing drugs and sleeping around? I live in the Midwest, it is astonishing. You'll find that 9 out of 10 or so college age kids claim themselves Christian, but these are the people who crowd all the over the top parties and are often cruel to others. The only semi-nice, real people I know around here are those I'm friends with and play music with, most atheist or agnostic. Some life change their religion has brought upon them....

I just got a housing voucher, been waiting like 5 years, and the rules are that we must sign a new one year lease where ever we move to. The thing is that I still have 5 months on my lease left where I'm living.

I just had my third baby boy two days ago, and our apartment is far too small for all of us. How do I get out of this lease so that we can move into a larger nicer place, without having to sign a whole new lease here.

These apartments have no yard to play in and no three bedroom units at all. I look forward to now moving into a larger place possibly a house.
