I drop my chewing gum wrappers on the ground. I just don't care!

Yes. 'Cause I never remember, but I must have littered when I was a little kid and didn't learn about the fact that it's bad. But now I only littered when there's np trashcan and I'm holding something like a melting ice-cream cone.

Never! I grew up in Filthadelphia, the trash tumble-weeds there are awful. But the swim club I was a member of and worked at was kept VERY clean (my first job included patrolling the grounds picking up trash) so I view people who litter as selfish, lazy, low-class slobs. I then moved to Minneapolis, a very clean city, I've seen people say, "pick that up" when the see other littering up there, very cool.

I hate litter. If there is no trash can available, I put it in my pocket (every day when I get home I have to empty trash from my pockets). Last night I had to go to an event at a local high school. The parking lot was covered with trash, very low-class, I thought I was back in Philly, not a well-off DC suburb.

No, unless you count stuff blowing out of my knocked over garbage can that I never recover. Almost any place where you'll be out drinking from a can, chewing gum, eating, etc, will have a garbage can somewhere and I'll wait.
Did you think you would get a ton of support on this issue? So far it looks like it's not as normal as you think to chuck crap on the ground.

No.

You drop your gum wrappers on the ground? WTF?
That's why god gave you pockets. A gum wrapper takes up almost no pocket space until such a time arises that you come across an actual garbage can.

Honestly, I never do that and I have the dustbin at home and in office. Littering is generally not an offense in many countries.

The educated, decent, ethical and socially concerned for his nation and the people, don't litter! Never they support or encourage such act! Its an habit and one has to cultivate it to become a better citizen to the State!

For those who don't care for the pollution they generate, the law must be made tough to deal with them! In Singapore, which is considered one of the world clean city, the law is really tough for those who litter in public places!

No I don't. In fact, I usually pick up other people's litter, like gum wrappers, when I see it. It makes me feel a whole lot better to pick up litter then to leave it. I'll bet it would make you feel better too.

I am ashamed that yes, sometimes I do litter. I am not saying this is a good thing but the message said to be honest.

Americans like to assume that other people are put on earth to clean up after them. It's another denier myth, but I guess they need 'em to be able to sleep at night.

Honestly- no. I feel that I don't have a right to complain about trash being everywhere if I do the deed myself.
