Printer question?

I have a Brothers printer and it will say empty ink when it is full and then When you press print is says recieving data but never prints. Any ideas?

Is the ink cartridge a GENUINE one or a refill ?
Refills need rechipped / chip reset to read as full again.

Once it thinks it is out of ink it will STOP PRINTING till it "knows" it has new ink

If genuine cart, contact Brother support for help

If you are using refills, switch over to the genuine original cartridges an ink recommended by Brothers.This seems unrelated to your problem but it could be the answer.
