Any ideas how to make this costume, or possibly buy one? (I doubt I'll be able to buy one, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

It's actually a good baby gremlin, like Gizmo, not the evil ones. But that;s what I'm going for, not the dog or cat

I would start with a furry mascot costume. A white easter rabbit costume would be the easiest. Then dye parts of the fur brown. You could use the head as a base to model the new mask. You would need some help from somebody that can sculpt to make the face and ears, There are several materials that would work,

When I looked up "magwai" in Yahoo! images, I found pictures of pug dogs and of cats with browned or blackened faces. The computer also asked me if I meant mogwai. A mogwai, according to an urban dictionary, is a Chinese word for ghost; it's also the bad gremlins from the movie Gremlins.
So, do you want to dress up as a pug dog or brownfaced white cat, or as an evil gremlin, or a Chinese ghost?

you would have to make one. I looked and looked but couldn't find a costume.
I am assuming you meant the mogwai from the gremlins.
you should get a bear,chewbacca(from star wars) or Ewalk costume and change it a little to make it look like Gizmo.
