When I was young it seemed that life was so wonderful.....oops, no, sorry (got carried away, didn't mean to burst into song there) - when I was young I was lead to believe the seasons had a definitive "start" date - ie summer started 21 June, Autumn started 21st September, Winter started 21st December and Spring started 21st March. I keep hearing TV people saying it is autumn now so I'm a tad confused - can anyone throw any light on my mystery?

ive had my period for almost a year now
&she thinks its "inappropriate for someone my age"
she says because "its goes inside me" & she dosent think im ready for that.
grr i usually wear a thong & for the past three days i have not been able to.
my jeans are so tight that u can see the panty lines in them so i had to wear a long jacket today to cover it

Anyone who has, or their children have, a captains bed...was it a good investment? Im getting my 4 yr old a bed (currently in a toddler bed)...i found a captain's bed i really like, but it is $349. It is well made, and sturdy, but i was really only planning on spending maybe 300 total, including mattresses. Now with this bed, plus bunky board, and mattress i will be at over 500. Is it a good investment? Did you notice them being sturdier than just a headboard/footboard? Thumbs up or down? Thanks!

Just painted green metallic color (dark hunter like green) from Ralph Lauren, was going to put lighter green in between but ended up liking the green and white together.The two greens was going to be to dark for me. My last period started Aug 9th and I'm currently 10 days past from what should have been my the start of my next period. I haven't taken a home pregnancy test yet because I'm wanting to find out if it is common to have a late or missed period after you stop taking clomid. The last round of clomid that I took was in July.

How many guys out there have dated a woman because she is a "Nice Person". Then after a while of dating you proposed to her and she accepted. ok so i had sex with my boyfriend in august and we haven't had sex since then, and we used protection, my period is late....and no it wasnt my first time....but also i have been smoking more recently (i know its really bad) but i was wondering if maybe that is why i havent gotten my period yet?

In my humble opinion, this demonstrates a blinkered and unscientific world view. It is not our place to decide whether animals have a purpose or not. Animals exist, and that's that. The same goes for plants, rocks, and everything else. Looking for a reason for their existence is akin to a dog chasing its tail. A useless, irrelevant pursuit.

I eat plants because my body needs them. I don't see plants as being put on here for us to eat. The same would go for animals if I needed to eat them but we don't need to eat them.
