Yes, dress comfortably and trousers are actually more acceptable now. More people do multiple functions, so being more versatile isn't only accepted but more of a must!

Yes, you can wear trousers w/ a dressy top to an evening wedding reception. You prob. won't be the only woman wearing trousers either. Focus on feminine accessories like earrings & a pretty clutch.

I would guess you only have black trousers? Which would be best to a formal event like a wedding. Be sure to dress them up with an evening top, nice purse and you "must" wear some dress shoes. No gym, flip-flops, or hiking shoes.

i dont think so... i've been to 10 wedding reception and not one woman was wearing black trousers so i think you should wear a skirt or something. dress it up with a cute top and nice heals or flats

Sure you can.Just make sure it is dress pants and a nice blouse.Jc pennys has some really nice outfits right now I was just there Sat.

Yes, if the pants are appropriately dressy & the blouse you choose is also dressy & elegant. I'd also wear dressy shoes/high heels to complete the outfit.
