Having the gvmt force us into one kind of retirement plan is not only the antithesis of freedom, but it also forces us to take risks with our money that we normally wouldn't.

Don't you agree that retirement planing should be the job of the individual and not the job of the gvmt?

Don't you think you could do better with planning your retirement if you did it yourself?

Okay, let's take a look at our patriotism over the years:
We depend on foreign countries for most of our bare necessities such as oil, gas and almost half of our national products. We buy mostly imported automobiles, our clothes are made in sweatshops all across the 3rd world, CHINA makes probably 80% of what we use in a day. Here in Michigan we tell Canadians that they don't need to dump their own garbage in their own country, we have a president who keeps constant communication with the country that helped fund and attack our country( Saudi Arabia ) whose father happened to fund the same terrorists we now call "insurgents " when he was director of the CIA. We have troops, who the only time probably seen an Iraqi was when they pumped gas and paid for it , are dying over in a country that is heading to civil war . And on top of that didn't all these hate groups that we've had here WAY before "Al Qaeda" became a household name, truly define "terrorism" after our own civil war?

I want to study astronomy (stars, galaxies,comets... ) when i grow up. Does this mean that I'll be a physicist, astrophysicist or an astronomer. But I thought that astronomers actually go outside into space, not study them. I'll probably want to work for NASA, but what would I be doing in NASA? It's kinda complicated for me. Thanks for answering.

It seems to me that society is being screwed up by parents who refuse to use the word "no" to their children. Most kids today seem to have more toys than they know what to do with, and don't know the value of anything.

A bit of smacking wouldn't do any harm, either.

Can anyone help? I did a Sex and the City tour last time I was in NY and we went to the apartment that was used as Carrie's stoop - did the touristy thing and had my photo taken on the steps but I can't remember where it was! I think it was the lower west side - does anyone know the street?

Thanks

A ball bearing rolls backwards and forwards on the vertical track shown in the diagram:
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a348/Drakhys-2/slope4a.gif
It always starts to roll from the top of the track, either at the left or at the right. The shadow of the ball is seen on the horizontal ground beneath the track, and the position of the shadow is measured along the ground, with the origin at the bottom of the track at point O. The four statements below concern the motion of the shadow. Identify whether each is true or false.

1. For motion from right to left, the velocity and the acceleration at the point B are both negative.
2. For motion from left to right, the position and the acceleration at point B are both negative.
3. For motion from left to right, the position and the velocity at the point A have opposite signs.
4. For motion from right to left, the position and the velocity at point A are both negative.

My oldest son Jonah (3) always throw fits while my youngest Noah (10 months) is real mellow. I try to take them for walks, but out of the blue my son Jonah throw's fits about going. Noah loves the walks. I put my oldest in time out, but then I can't take Noah on the walk. I've tryed later but he does it all over again. I have no one to watch Jonah so Noah don't feel like he's punished. So now I'm woundering how I punish Jonah ( while he is screaming and kicking) and not make Noah feel he is in trouble too. He is too young to understand.
