one side of the handle always breaks off,you can remove the door panel and see if this is whats happened to it,if so that can be replaced real easy.you can get a good used one or a new one ,also look and make sure the rod that goes down to the latch assembly isn't come loose on it,that will also cause it not work from the out side ,good luck with it.

Probably a clip broke off that attaches the outside handle to the door latch via a rod---have to remove the inner door trim panel to inspect and replace the clip or possibly the handle.

You could try spraying WD-40 into the key lock and into the lock mechanism at the side of the door. But then you need to remove the inside door panel screws to see why the mechanism isn't working.

The lever to the handle has disconnected from the lock. You need to remove the lock by unscrewing it at the edge of the door, and once it's free, you'll see what exactly is broken. I bet it's the plastic joint.

what could you like us to do, supply you with a catalogue of each and every thing that should ever pass incorrect with a vehicle? you heavily would desire to grant greater info jointly with what the motor vehicle is doing and what you have already checked. in case you haven't any longer checked something because of the fact you don't be attentive to the way then our suggestion could be a waste of time and attempt. sturdy luck

EITHER THE HANDLE BROKE FROM THE INSIDE OR THE LINKAGE FELL OFF USUALLY THE HANDLES BRAKE ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR .SOMETIMES YOU CAN LOOK DOWN WHERE THE WINDOW GOES (ROLL WINDOW DOWN) WITH A FLASHLIGHT AS YOU MOVE THE HANDLE BACK AND FORTH YOU SHOULD SEE THE BROKEN PIECE
