Stds don't give the itches, just having balls makes them itch.
Solution - take a shower every day. After your shower, dry very well especially the bread basket. You may have a fungal infection if you are itchy. If there is any spot that looks red, it might be infected. Use an over-the-counter AF (anti-fungal medication). Stay warm and clean and you'll be fine.

1st make sure you change your undies at least once a day. the undies should be of a Cotton type material. they do get hot and sweaty because they are getting very little air. You will find that they hang lower when they are warm and closer when they are cold. 2nd when you shower make sure you get all the soap off, yes you are going to have to rub and wash them no you are not playing with them(you could if you want they do belong to you)it will take a few days and the itching will go away but shower at least once a day. 3rd get some powder, baby or other and sprinkle some of this on after you dry off. You shoud be good to go.

dude you probibly got jock itch. Its not a big deal! wash your junk good try a antibactrial soap. Go to your local drug store or Pharmacy or chemist where ever you live and go to the Athiete foot section there are a lot of sprays for athlete foot that you can use also for jock itch like Lamisil AF get the powder spray. Be sure to dry your junk real good Spray this stuff on them for a few days it should go away if not see your doctor. Also make sure your junk has some breathing room briefs or speedos arent good they keep the moisture in and thats what fungi like nice warm moist places.

Your balls itched because you did not wash them is what I would instinctively say, but since many of us here can not see your balls or examine them for signs of lice through the pc, then you might want to see a specialist who can diagnose the source of your itchy scratchy balls.
