The McCanns, regardles of how you may feel about them now, had probably run one of the most sucessful missing person campaigns ever. They distributed the picture of missing Madeleine across the whole of Europe and indeed many parts of the globe, not just by direct posters and armbands etc but by ensuring that the campaign was high profile on television and in the press. Its probably now doubtful there are many people in the UK, Portugal and Spain who a) do not know Madeleine is missing, and b) what she looks like. AND all that and they still have £1000,000 left to look for her. But times move on and they are now suspects in the disapearance and believe that the Police have stopped looking for their daughter. Common sense almost cries out that if they were genuinely looking they would hire the best private detectives that money can buy - but no instead money is spent on a PR company 'to clear their name' and to launch a poster campaign to show people what they already know - what LOGIC

A recruiter approached me recently and got me into his office and now i wanna join and i am serious about it and they keep pushing me to join right now. i went through the process of enlisting, sorta, they wanted me to take the ASVAB, drug test and swear in and i got them to delay a week but thats not enuf time to be clean. I afraid if i say i dont want to right now, they wont take me later. I am done with the drug for good but i just dont have the time to get clean. I could get fake pee and test negative join and be done with the drug, but idnt if they search me or make me pee while being watched. Plus not to mention thats not honorable and its not a good start to joining. I dont know what to do.

just let you be in a bad mood! Yes, we all have bad moods sometimes, but it seems to me that women aren't allowed to have a funny five minutes without her man jumping on the bandwagon and getting stroppy as well! I am doing some image manipulation on users' inputs: everytime, the image is modified, but is sent by the server with the same name (can't change it).
Putting headers such as:
header("ETag: PUB" . time());

header("Expires: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s", time()) . " GMT");
header("Pragma: no-cache");
header("Cache-Control: max-age=0, s-maxage=0, no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate");
BEFORE the tag works fine with IE6-7, but fail with Firefox: the image on the screen is the image cached on the user's machine.
Any idea how to implement this so it can run on firefox?

In the US, you are an adult the day you turn eighteen. If you have sex with someone who is 18 and you are 17-- the 18yo is said to be "raping" you. Even if you consent, the person is good to you, and they never forced you or hurt you-- they still go to jail because of something you agreed to.

Shouldn't consequences be decided on a case-by-case basis instead of being black and white? I mean, if someone is 16 and they decide to date someone who is 18 of their own free will, shouldn't they be allowed to? Shouldn't it depend on maturity levels and all the other factors instead of being decided solely on age?

I've seen some pretty immature 25yos, and some very mature 15 yos. So should age be the only deciding factor between consent and rape, or should there be others?

I'm 15. Next year, i have the choice to move from china ( not my native country, canada is ) back to nova scotia, canada. Where i lived for 9 years, then moved to toronto, then to china. I have the option to move there, because i am not doing well in the school i am in. The curriculumn is MUCH harder, and i am failing 2 courses. Should i move to nova scotia to live with my grandparents? My parents would stay here in china. But i would be closer to my brother, who lives in ontario, canada. Im not extremely happy in China, but im afraid that if i move, i may be more unhappy. Help?!?! Im soooo confused!!!! Should i do this?

advise on how to communicate with his father. His father does not call him on the phone and does not visit him. He is depressed and sad. Any tips on how he can have a relationship with his dad? I made this mexican candy I know it translates to burnt milk. I followed the recipe exactly and it won't set right. One of my question is there a difference between evaparted milk and evaperated filled milk. I used the candy thermometer and also did the cold water test to test for the soft ball stage.
