Are you doing what you always wanted to when you were growing up?

Not even close! My parents always said that I could do or be anything I wanted (I was quite bright), but every idea I had, my mom found fault with, so I just never did anything. She wanted me to be a nurse, but that just never appealed to me.
It's partly my own fault, too. I never figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up (still not sure!). Then life got in the way, and I had to worry about raising kids and paying bills. The kids are raised now, but the bills just won't stop coming!
Now I fear I'm too old to even attempt to get a Bachelor's degree, going to school part-time would take forever, so that leaves out a lot of the better ideas.
Maybe I'll write that "great American novel" one of these days, lol! Or figure out how to go to beauty school. It's not the be all and end all for me, but it's something I can do and probably be good at. Beats asking people if they want fries with that, lol!

Nope, i'm still growing up. Im 14 and i have no idea whati want to be or do, just know that i want to travel the world. How about you? Are you doing what you always drempt of?

No, I'm not. I never wanted to work in a chicken processing plant when I grew up. But, it does pay the bills. Some of them anyway.

No I am not, but I will be now because I used to try to make other people happy and never made myself happy, but now its time to do the things I need to do to better myself for myself and my kids.

well ... no.. but I happen to like the job I have ... so thats a plus .. I know there are alot worse ones out there so I feel lucky about that for sure! ; )
