The War on Poverty was introduced by President Lyndon B. Johnson during his State of the Union address on January 8, 1964. After spending countless billions on social programs to help the poor and we are no closer to winning this war than when we started.

The war on drugs was started in its broadest sense, in 1880, when the U.S. and China completed an agreement (see Opium wars) that prohibited the shipment of opium between the two countries. Over the past 126 years, we have spent billions of dollars and have not won this war.

The War on Terrorism was started at the 1972 Olympics by the PLO and the terrorist have been attacking us for over 35 years now. Until 9/11/2001 we did not respond. Why do the dems think that after 6 years of effort, we are going to be able to erraticate a problem that has been going for at least 41 years.

I'm not really sure how much money my dad wants to spend on one. Probably no more than $50, but I'm not sure.

I tried on an adult helmet that we already had, (I'm guessing a men's one) but it was too big!

I think it'd be nice to get a helmet that has a little hole for a pony-tail, but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't have one.

I live in Omaha, NE, so we have quite a few bike shops, as well as a bunch of sporting goods stores.

I know we don't want to buy one off the internet. Should I go to a bike or sporting goods store, or just go to target or wal-mart?

Is there really a big difference between $25 helmets and $50 helmets?

OH and if an adult helmet was too big, should I get a youth size? Or a women's size? Or what?

I don't want it to be super ugly either. I'm a 16 year old girl so if it looks really ugly I probably won't have any motivation to wear it.
OH and I ride about 6 miles on a paved trail each time I ride, and I go about 4-5 days a week.

One Day, at a bus stop there was a girl who was wearing a skintight miniskirt. When the bus arrived and it was her turn to get on, she realized that her skirt was so tight she couldn't get her foot high enough to reach to step.

Thinking it would give her enough slack to raise her leg, she reaches back and unzipps her skirt a little. She still could not reach the step Embarrassed, she reaches back once again to unzip it a little more. Still, she couldn't reach the step.

So, with her skirt zipper halfway down, she reaches back and unzips her skirt all the way. Thinking that she could get on the step now, she lifts up her leg only to realize that she still couldn't reach the step.

So, seeing how embarrased the girl was, the man standing behind her put his hands around her waist and lifted her up on to the first step of the bus. The girl turns around furiously and says, “How dare you touch my body that way, I don't even know you!”

Shocked, the man says, “Well, ma'am, after you reached around and unzipped my fly three times, I kinda figured that we were friends

ok.
there is a staircase.
you are at the top
ther is also 3 light switches at the top.
there a light bulb at the bottom.
you can only go down the stair case once.
you cannot see the lightbulb OR the light from it
from the top of the staircase.





HOW do you figure out which switch turns on the lightbulb??

Is it possible to feel heart fluttering not only on the left hand side, but that it 'spreads' to the middle or right-hand side of the chest? I am sure that it isn't a case of muscle twitching and it is discomforting. I am 28 years old, lower end of normal weight, and not on any long-term medication.
