ok i was just wondering if a dog is 1 years(y) old how old will it be in doggie years, seven(x) year old???..... than the rule is y*x

is there a kitty cat yrs too!!? if yes,1yr old cat how many yrs in kitty cat yrs??

its 7 x age=dog years
cat years is 6.5 or 6.somthing so the cat would be 6.something

The rule really is not 7x # years. The first yeay, a dog matures more like 12 to 15 years (like to a teenager). The second year, the dog may mature to about 25. After that, the aging rate slows dramatically.

Much of this depends on the breed of dog and size. The bigger the dog, the slower the maturation, but the shorter the life. Go figure.

The old "7 yrs" thing is not accurate. But, as you can see from the various sites below, each is a little different.
