often, on a daily basis many prayers are answered, not
necessarily in the way you want, but rather in the way
you need. A few years, back I came through heavy-duty
heart surgery. 2 years again I had cancer removed and
it hasn't resurfaced. Similar prayer answers for healthconcerns have been apparent throughout my family.
Other prayers have bee answered no -- mom and dad
crossed the river recently.

Sure, many times.
It is not like God is a "pez dispenser" or Genie.
It simply does not work that way, especially for selfish reasons. We don't always get what we want but He does supply our needs. He does know the desires of our hearts and our sorrows.
Of the "miracle" type answer, my mother had pancreatic cancer and was scheduled for surgery to have the "whipple" procedure performed. The surgeon came out minutes later infuriated and demanding to know who her doctor was. There was no cancer to remove. A coincidence or misdiagnosis? No, it was verified by several doctors. The family was in awe. Will God do this for any who ask? Who knows. If He is willing, He certainly is able.

Prayer works by circular logic. If you pray, and it gets answered right away, then "Praise Jesus, its a miracle!". If you pray, but it doesn't get answered, then "it wasn't in the will of god". If you pray, and it gets answered 3 weeks later, then it was a "wait and see" type situation. Using this logic, I could pray to an apple, and never fail, because there is always an explanation for why the situation turned out that way. This is the fallacy with prayer, because you simply cannot disprove it. How convenient.

I watch my prayers being answered on a regular basis. I am part of the prayer team at my church. We regularly follow news events which we have been praying about or mention in our prayer meetings. We see answers in the media all the time.

Yes and no. Sometimes I feel that God knows what is best for me before I do and that my life can, at times, be dictated by the outcome. Something just fell through today that might have become a reality yesterday. I am not upset, I am not mad at God for letting this opportunity pass by me. He has some other solution in store I beleive.
Right now, we (my husband and I) are hoping that a long-standing issue will be met with happy results. It is in Gods hands.

Yes, one night as I was headed to my parents home, I began to speak in tongues and could not figure out why God was impressing on me to speak in the Spirit. A few miles up the road, I saw this huge black cow that had just crossed over to the other side of the lane and out of my lane.
Romans 8:26 says, "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weakness. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself maked intercession, for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
This is the reason everyone needs the Spirit of God, not just "I believe God exist." attitude.

Every night I pray to God that he protect me and my family. So far, he is doing a great job of answering those prayers because we are all fine.

Yes, this happens all the time. For instance, when I feel weak or unsure, I ask my father to bring upon the Ghost, which guides me in the dark. In other words, I pray for spiritual guidance at all times, even when I am "in the dark" and there is a Ghost about. My father is a well known pastor in his community, so he knows how to make this happen.
