I know this was a stupid mistake and morally wrong so here it goes.
I conducted fraudulent refund transactions to myself totaling close to $400 on my cash register. I used the money to pay for rent and my tuition at school.i was desperate for i was afraid i wasn't gonna make it financially. Well over a month later a rep from loss prevention confronted me in my boss's office with evidence and logs of all the transactions. i could not help but admit my guilt..telling him everything from how i did it to what i used the money for. I agreed to pay back all the money i stole.
A few days later i came into my boss's office and he told me that b/c of my cooperation, HEB will not file charges against me, but they have no choice but to term. my employment. He also said HEB can never tell a potential employer why i left, only when i worked there. My quests: 1. Will this be on my record and for how long, 2. How hard is it to get another job after something like this, 3. Words of wisdom i could use?

I am having what I believe to be nerve pain in my right arm. It goes from my shoulder into my fingers but is most pronounced in my forarm. I have a thyroid problem (tumor on the right of my thyroid and I had a biopsy done and the results were non diagnostic because the did not get enough cells) and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar?

A couple of women were playing golf one sunny Saturday morning. The first of the twosome teed-off and watched in horror as the ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole. Indeed, the ball hit one of the men and he immediately clasped his hands together at his crotch, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in agony.

The woman rushed down to the man and immediately began to apologize.

"Please allow me to help, I'm a physiotherapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd just allow me!" she told him earnestly.

"Ummph, oooh, nnooo, I'll be alright. I'll be fine in a few minutes," he replied as he remained in the fetal position, still clasping his hands together at his crotch.

The woman takes it upon herself to begin to "ease his pain" and begins to massage his groin.

After a few moments she asked, "Does that feel better?"

The man looked up at her and replied, "Well, that does feel pretty good, but my thumb still hurts like hell!"

On June 22, 2007,I was involved in an automobile accident. I know it was a rainy night, however the person who caused the accident is saying that she has witnesess to say they were painting on that day. I know that no reputable painter would paint on a rainy day. How can I find out what the weather was like on that day? Please do not tell me to go to the weather channel. okay, so i finally convince my mom to let me get an electric bass guitar NOW versus later, as long as i pay her back from it...BUT then she brought up a good issue, and as ive had a major brain-fart, i dont know the answer-->she said 'but since its an electric, dont you need an amp or no sound can come out at all?'
dunno...
also, i know i'll need one eventually, but i mean for NOW, like if im just practicing...
oh, and if i DO need one, (and even if i dont, i will eventually and all that crap) any recomendations? (and for bass guitars, too...)

Please help this well-meaning, but ignorant white girl become more knowledgeable about race and relations. This is, IN NO WAY, meant to be a racist question!

In regards to that whole Don Imus - Rutgers team thing, I believe that I understand why people were offended, but I am curious... Why does nobody seem to mind that Stevie Wonder's "I Wish" is featured in the movie Happy Feet? Is it because Stevie is a black man? If we want to eliminate language like that, why would featuring that song in a kid's movie be acceptable, no matter how much we love the guy as an amazing musician?
