I am having what I believe to be nerve pain in my right arm. It goes from my shoulder into my fingers but is most pronounced in my forarm. I have a thyroid problem (tumor on the right of my thyroid and I had a biopsy done and the results were non diagnostic because the did not get enough cells) and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar?

I read through some of your answers to others questions. You seem both intelligent and knowledgeable, so I am going to risk sounding a little nutty.

I recently completed a year long course in hypnosis. One of the instructors had a special 3 hr. course on "body syndroms". This is the philosophy that problems with certain parts of the body reflect emotional problems we are currently going through. He told a story about an orthopedic surgeon that was one of his clients. The surgeon had a bad rash on both of his legs, making it difficult to work.

In terms of body syndroms, problems with the legs indicate that one wants to run away from a problem. When he told the doctor this, the doctor was amazed. He had just joined a medical group. He had signed a contract without going over it very thorughly. He found that he was on call every third weekend to the local hospital. In addition, he and the office manager did not get along at all. If it had been up to him, he would have fired this person immediately. He was powerless in this situation.

In just acknowledgeing this situation, his rash went away.

You have what you believe is nerve pain in your right arm, primarily in your right forearm. Problems with our hands and forearms in paticular are caused because we are grasping for something. The right arm would be because of some financial issue. Maybe you are trying to buy a house that is just out of reach. Maybe you are looking for a job that you know is out there, but you have been unable to land as yet. There is something that you want, badly, but have not yet acquired.

This will sound silly, but try it, it works.

Kiss your left hand. Put it on your right forearm and say "I love my arm".

I have tried this technique several times, and, for me, it works about 90% of the time. It seems to work for others I have suggested it to also.

Let me know if it works for you

I don't know that your thyroid problem necessarily has to do with your arm pain. You may have a pinched nerve which is causing the pain in your arm. I would suggest seeing a doctor about this problem. Good luck!

Your lil cartoon pic leads me to beleive you are a woman. define your problem as fully and as descriptive as you possibley can.... record your temperature. pulse and blood pressure each morning, noon, bedtime. Look at your eyes, body, feet, face and hands from front back and sides. Record what your see. All symptoms dates, observations should be discussed with a female Medical Doctor. Someone who will listen and demonstrate competence. Check out each medical advisor as thoroghly as you can.
