On June 22, 2007,I was involved in an automobile accident. I know it was a rainy night, however the person who caused the accident is saying that she has witnesess to say they were painting on that day. I know that no reputable painter would paint on a rainy day. How can I find out what the weather was like on that day? Please do not tell me to go to the weather channel. I have been there already and have not been able to get an answer. If you have an answer please respond, if not, please don't waste my time or yours. Thank you

Yes, there were precipitation recorded in Danielson, CT and weather stations within the same county. But, before I continue, I must tell you that if this is for a legal case, the data must be certified. The only agency that can certify climate and weather data is the National Climatic Data Center.

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/ncdc.html

They will charge a fee for certified data.

The following data links are for your information only since the data are not certified.

Precipitation from weather stations in CT for 6-22-07...

http://raws.wrh.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/roman/precip_monitor.cgi?state=CT&rawsflag=290&day1=23&month1=06&year1=2007&hour1=4&type=0&orderby=n

For Danielson, CT for 6-22-07, .04 of an inch was recorded.

To get detailed weather observations, click on station name.
Then click on "Past Data" located on the left menu window frame and follow the instructions.

For Danielson, this is what you should see...

http://raws.wrh.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/roman/meso_base_past.cgi?stn=C5844&unit=0&time=LOCAL&day1=22&month1=06&year1=2007&hour1=24

You may need to scroll down the top window frame in order to get to the detailed eather observations.

I am very sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how stressful it must be. I hope your OK.

Accuweather.com gives you historical weather data for the past two months for free. But if you don't mind paying after a 30 day free trial you can get Accuweather.com Premium and it'll give you historical weather data for the past 12 months.
Here's the link:
http://www.accuweather.com/forecast-climo.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=1&zipChg=1&zipcode=06239
Where it says Select New Month you can click get 12 months of historical data and it'll bring you top the page where you can order Accuweather.com Premium.

That's the only way I know of for you to get Historical Weather Data for your town.

Or you can contact the National Weather Service Office in Taunton, MA and ask them if they can help you. You can reach them by Phone at: 508-828-2672 (Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM EDT)

Indeed you had just showers, the nearby town of Hartford had only .10 of rain that day, the skies cleared the next day.
