Please help this well-meaning, but ignorant white girl become more knowledgeable about race and relations. This is, IN NO WAY, meant to be a racist question!

In regards to that whole Don Imus - Rutgers team thing, I believe that I understand why people were offended, but I am curious... Why does nobody seem to mind that Stevie Wonder's "I Wish" is featured in the movie Happy Feet? Is it because Stevie is a black man? If we want to eliminate language like that, why would featuring that song in a kid's movie be acceptable, no matter how much we love the guy as an amazing musician?

"looking back on when i was a little nappy headed boy".

i guess i'm a bit stupid. are there words in that song that are offensive? i'm not a fan of his music so i don't know
i don't think the two can be compared. what stevie is saying is about himself.

i am getting what ur announcing! my factor with the complete imus trouble is it grew to be racist so rapid, good enough what e mentioned was once nappy headed hoes, why most effective was once nappy the predicament he known as the complete workforce that no longer the black avid gamers! all ladies at the workforce have been indignant!
