I have the most horrible pain in my hands today and for the last couple of days. It has been rainy here. It started with my left pointer finger nuckle, very stiff, then all the fingers. Now my right hand is so painful I can barely type, cannot make a fist and it's a horrible pain to pick up my three month old and carry him. My right wrist appears slightly swollen but not red. Should I use a heating pad? Ice pack? I don't want to make it worse. I tried 800mg Ibuprophen and Darvocet, made me sick to my stomach but no pain relief.

Did you know walking alone is not good enough? You'll have a stronger heart with sprints included too - but you can only do these if you are healthy.

My red heeler is about a year and 3 months old. He does some weird stuff, but the strangest is his new habit of chewing on his feet. It's more like his ankles. He'll lay on the floor and chew on himself like he does with his other toys. He doesn't draw blood and has never yelped. Is there a reason for this?

Not to be rude but don't you have something better to do than argue with people that you call "delusional", "gullible" and who believe in "fairy tales"?
What's the point? We have our faith and our desire to grow spiritually. You have.....nothing ( in terms of religion and belief in God). I mean I'd understand if some of you were just curious and wanted to know about our respective religions but the majority of you don't. " God does not exist, you uneducated fools" is hardly grounds for constructive debate.
Soooooo......I think the chemistry section may be in need of some questions and answers....

Why do so many people allow perplexities and worries of everyday life to fret the mind and cloud the brow. We have a friend. His name is Jesus. He is our helper and our guide. Why is it that so few people turn to Jesus in their moments of distress?

You may be perplexed in business; your prospects may grow darker and darker, and you may be threatened with financial loss; but do not become discouraged; cast your care upon God, and remain calm and cheerful. Pray to God for wisdom to manage your affairs with discretion, and thus prevent loss and disaster. Do everything you can to bring about favorable results and trust God to do what you aren't able to do.

God is willing to help you if you are willing to ask him for assistance. Why is it so difficult for so many people to trust God? It is not the will of God that his people should be weighed down with care. Take all your burdens to the Lord and them there.

I had recently moved back in with my mom and sister. I have my son half the week per a custody agreement with his mom. Lately, I have been taking a lot of negative actions from my family. They constantly tell me that my stuff is in their way and I'm lucky I live there. They try to take over my life with my son at times and tell me that they will take him and raise him because they don't think I am a good enough father. My girlfriend sees this and she gets upset because she knows that is not the case. I need to move out of this situation but I don't have money saved to leave right now. I don't know if a shelter is a good place to go to save money while I am working to afford a new place to live. I have tried talking to my family about this on numerous occassions and it changes for a few days and then it's back to the same stuff. Any advice would help.

1. What's the use of knowing the center of gravity?
2. Is the center of gravity of a meterstick always located at the 50cm mark?
3. What do drivers mean when they say the car needs wheel balancing?
4. A traffic signal light is suspended by the cables. Under what condition will the tension be equal to the weight of the signal light?
5. Is it possible for the center of gravity to lie outside the body?
6. Does the center of gravity always coincide with the geometrical center of objects?

My answers: 1. for balance? 2. Yes (because it's a regular shaped object?) 3. wheel balancing - allows tires to spin without causing vibrations. 4. translational equilibrium (first) 5. Yes. 6. No (for irregularly shaped objects?)

Are my answers correct? Any more additional info to be added is appreciated. Thanks!
